As usual, the fashion nut I am is underwhelmed. I feel like a SWTOR deja vu: I HAVE RL money I would spent, but the fashion there is crap and nonexistent. 3 sets, harlot, king and something in the middle which looks lame. It's like in the joke where someone tosses dollar notes on the screen.
I know, other will say: are you insane!? MORE dollars to drop into cash shops.
BUT:
Here is my reply. Those games must and will use cash shops. We know a lot of people are vain, and buy stuff for cool looks. AND cash shop iteams for mere looks are the most harmless stuff. So, why do so many games FAIL offering cool and diverse cash shop fashion, especially in a game where the cash shop is THE way to get their money back? Unlike SWTOR, where that wasn't the plan in the beginning, it was the plan with NWO. So again. Why?
So instead I have the always same Rogue gear all through level 1-60. Great.... NOT.
Seriously, it's like they don't WANT our money! Pft. I certainly would pay some decend money on good looks for my chars, just they don't let me! >.<

I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. If I buy a candy bar at a store, oftentimes, I will drop it... so that it achieves its maximum flavor potential. --Mitch Hedberg
Definitely agree with this. Level 16 now and look almost exactly the same as everyone else and the same as I looked at level 1. BLAH! I'm hoping a release version includes more, but I'm not holding my breath.
the stuff you get from clock tower dungeon has a very nice distint look to it.. i got a blue chest drop on my first run.. looks very nice

Though I've spent more time at odds with the OP's statements, for this one I would have to agree, at least on the fact of wanting alot of different clothing/armor options.
EDIT: OMG, I'm agreeing with Purutzil too? I'm starting to feel ill.
All of my posts are either intelligent, thought provoking, funny, satirical, sarcastic or intentionally disrespectful. Take your pick.
I get banned in the forums for games I love, so lets see if I do better in the forums for games I hate.
I enjoy the serenity of not caring what your opinion is.
I don't hate much, but I hate Apple© with a passion. If Steve Jobs was alive, I would punch him in the face.
^Yup higher end gear drops and sets look pretty bad ass for now. Few games launch with lots of stuff in the mall, they'll start adding cosmetics and stuff in time. I too have some left over tax dollars burning a whole in my pocket as well. The only thing I'm interested in is a mount (did buy a pre-order pack) but they aren't tradable like past PW games and 30 bucks is just too much.
Honestly, the fact they aren't rushing to get our money right now is a good sign that the game is doing well. Good things will come.
