ArenaNet's Angel McCoy and Scott McGough discuss the lore behind the Flame and Frost storyline. The go into detail about how the characters and events lead into future for the Guild Wars 2 story line. Enjoy!
I've come to like what they did with the story up till now, and realize that it was the pacing that i did not like. The 3 weeks of nothing but repairing signs and talking to refugess was incredibly boring, and i hope the upcoming parts of the story, even the little ones, have something more involving to do. It'll keep me entertained if it is as such.
The story might not be bad but they have problems with telling this in game. It's the pacing and design although they seem to be very slowly improving.

that's a pretty common complaint and it being their first living story attempt i think it was decent and they hopefully learn and progress moving forward
I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. If I buy a candy bar at a store, oftentimes, I will drop it... so that it achieves its maximum flavor potential. --Mitch Hedberg
I finished all the live story content up to this point today to get my gauntlets and title and I have to say I am absolutely 100 percent satisfied with what arena net is doing with this game. The constant updates from this company astound me. The 2 boss ending fight to the new dungeon is simply amazing. Keep up the great work Arena Net. You may turn me into a fanboy yet

You see, if you do it all at once, you'll definitely find it compelling but if you played it month to month as they released it, it would be boring and not well paced.
havent logged ingame for a few months and did so last weekend-todo the new dungeon, and felt like i never left(in a goodway)..went right away with guild mates and was very satisfied with the whole dungeon.
didnt go into wvw- but from what i heard in chat it was very active. everyone seemed happy doin their thing gathering stuff mats to craft etc etc..
if this is whats to come iam very pleased. not sure how hard it would of been if i wasnt in a very active guild-but iam.
The interesting part is that these all sound like non-recurring events. The initial karka event (which I missed >:( ) and now Flame and Frost will never come back. You missed it, that's too bad.
I kinda like it because it keeps things fresh, but it sucks for people who come late to the party. I do wish they'd keep the F&F dungeon around, though, but maybe their revamping of the existing dungeons will make up for it.
