There is no question, Jedi have issues lol.

At 13, I already have trouble dealing with multiple blues. They completely pound me to paste.

I hear they are adding armor to the robes. Good idea actually for a quick fix, but I think active Jedi defenses need to be boosted.

For example, saber blocks. Blocks from sabers are not blocks. They are long-range parries.

What is funny is that Jedi is now the weakest class.

Especially since Entertainers and Traders can solo the vette. Jedi can't.

Very selective use of 'weakest' there ;)

Let one of those entertainers aggro anything and they'll be dead before they know it.

I've got a mid level jedi and one in the 80's and, tbh, I don't have any more difficulty killing stuff if....

.... I'm smart enough to avoid social mobs
.... I put the LS away and use a rifle or better yet a slightly weaker but faster firing carbine.
.... I don't rely on the piddly damage that weapons do but use the Force specials.

I die fast tho if I get multiple aggro from blues. Yup. I also die fast if I get aggro from greys and manage to click into the chat bar..... yikes.

Then again, my smuggler has the same issues. My commando is a joke and my spy only survives because smoke grenades are the new feign death. Come to think of it, my toons ALL do far more damage if I rely on their specials regardless of what weapons are equipped.

The choice between the different combat professions starts to feel like the Python's Spam song. Y'know, you can have spam, spam and chips, spam and egg, spam and.... y'get the idea

I have a lvl 16 Jedi and I'm not having any real trouble. I can solo 2 yellows without dying several blues, and greens and below don't usually pose a threat unless I get severely out numbered. I use a katana at the moment and use my specials all the time. I wear the best gear I can from the quest rewards I get. So at lvl 16 that would not be the Jedi robes I got at level 1. It's called Tanthra or something like that.

Personally, I like the Star Warsy feel of Jedi having to use guns to win battles. I have always admired the SWG playerbase who have to constantly figure out how to make do with a broken system be it preCU, CU or the NGE. No other game out there has such a gallery of survivor types.

Still, in the end, they gave the masses what they wanted (which masses and when if ever they played are yet to be determined) - Jedi and in a true SOE way - broken, bugged and "star warsy"tm.

Would take a borked Ranger over this iconic pile of bantha poodoo anyday.

I always liked seeing a Jedi pick a blaster over a light saber in the movies; you know blasters are what all the hip Jedi used in the movies.

Lets see...I remember Obi-Wan using a blaster to kill General Greivous then saying it was un-cilivized, but other than that I don't ever remember Jedi using a blaster. Keep in mind Luke wasn't a Jedi yet when he used the blaster.

    Sarcasm - some assembly required.

Oddly, I feel sorry for even the ebay jedi who had to spend many hours learning to use the force andare now forced to learn how to use guns. Oh, the humanity.

I don't know how many of them are out there but I had a friend sell his Jedi on Ebay two weeks before this No Gaming Enjoyment was announced. I would really hate to be that person pay all that money for an uber character only to have it all snatched away two weeks later.

I have played the game since beta and I can tell you first hand that this game is on a fast path to a trash heap.

Jedi as of now is the worst profession in the game. SOE has pretty much screwed any Veteran player especially Jedi.

I, as well as most of my guild have closed our accounts. The service in SWG is the worst I have ever encountered in any MMORPG and I have played a few.

This game may appeal to new players, but as for Veteran players, it is ruined.

Ya know, screwing over the Jedi was the only thing I LIKED about the nge.

But that's not enough to get behind it.
