Hai All

My name is Kaeyi & i am a full time Gaming editor/Video Producer for Hardwareheaven.com & i also have my own YouTube channelswww.youtube.com/kaeyidream (Gaming Channel) & www.youtube.com/awildkaeyiappears (Vlog Channel)!

I have been interested in Wildstar for quite a while now, and tbh i couldn't avoid it if i tried considering some close friends run WildstarCore, NexusReport & Wilstar_Fans !!

So naturally i had to make videos on this up & coming game and will continue to make videos regarding all aspects of the MMO from races to PvP and even housing. You name it and i will cover it.

I will keep this thread up to date with all my new videos so if you're interested check them out!

The housing system does look interesting, especially with the additional plots you can customize. But before you start saying things about how housing wasn't that good so far in other MMO's, I suggest you look into this before saying that. Especially after listing MMO's you played that didn't have housing at all.

For example you mentioned 'Star Wars Galaxies had player housing I believe' Wildstar's concept of housing can't even hold a candle to that. SWG had player made playercities with lots of different styles. A freeform method of decorating. All items in game showed up as 3d objects if dropped and could be moved/rotated to any spot in your house. You could place vendors in your house. And they were not instanced. I won't go into the player city system, but one important thing of note is that there were many uses for city buildings that actually formed a sense of community because of that.

Anyway, my point is. Player housing in Ultima Online and Star Wars Galaxies had the features that you were dreaming about Nowadays instanced player housing with fixed decoration points and guildhalls are just a weak remnant of what we had in older MMO's.

I agree unfortunately SWG closed in Dec 2011 & Ultima Online in 2004.. so these MMO's are pretty useless to me right now Yeah its great nostalgia to look back on and if people enjoyed it and Wildstar is following those design choices thats only a good thing right?

Yeah, I have to admit that I talk like a grandpa about times long gone if it comes to housing in MMO's . Btw, you didn't have to chase kids off your lawn back in those days. You simply killed them

Anyway, ff you mainly played MMO's before that didn't have housing, then you are winning now anyway Also, if housing is that interesting to you, you might also want to check out EQ2. It is f2p and you can visit other player's houses to check if they have any taste

Ultima Online didn't close in 2004 blasphemy! Its still active, not as popular as it once was but nevertheless active.

Great vids. Thanks for posting. Really love the housing system they have in Wildstar. Looks like I can have neighbors as well O/ Would be great if certain housing items could be crafted.

Yeah neighbors will be so awesome!! I know you can find them when questing but i dont think they can be crafted! Sadly..

There are no views (read: money) to be had by talking about old games.

It's much more productive (read: profitable) to hype up games that are coming out, taking advantage of the viewership that is eagerly looking for new information.

It doesn't matter if said new information is not provided, so long as the host is really (read: insincerely) being excited for the new game.

I'm actually a full time gaming editor as a profession, my personal YouTube accounts are my hobby. I don't need to be "look at me look at me" considering i am press and highly regarded by developers and publishers which is the most important thing for my career.

This is something i do for fun, i like to talk about games i care about and am interested in. If it helps others learn more about the game and also get excited.. job done. I'm not attempting or intend to be a YT "celeb" or some gamer girl icon.. im a girl who works in the gaming industry as a profession who enjoys making videos on the side about her fav games.

Who in there right mind would not appreciate people who support there content?? Musicians support fans as do actors. Having people who enjoy what you do and look up to you is very flattering and those people deserve respect.

Do you know how much YouTubers make? Its nothing to be excited about and barely covers any expenses they have.. hence its a hobby.

In regards to the information, i wasnt stating that i had NEW info, im not trying to be some hot off the press wildstar reporter, im talking about the things i enjoy about a game currently in development. A lot of people still have no clue this game exists.. NEXT POINT?

Love may be a strong word.. but i have a very strong emotional bond with the people who support me and thats how i choose to express it. Might not be LOVE in the literal sense but they are like my family.
