I have found a mmorpg called Jumpgate (www.mightygames.co.uk) it´s kinda a noname game but it´s a great game, it´s like ELITE. No other game can compare to it, here you have the joystick in your hand and not a mouse *Click click click*. It can compare to EnB. They are losing users every few month because the have almost no advertising.
It´s a great game and i don´t like to lose it. There is a 10 Day free trial to check it out for free.
Don´t let it die.

So it uses twitch combat? Is that it? Should that be the case it's really not an RPG in my mind. That's an instance of the "player's" skill determining combat when it should be the "character's" skill. The "player" should only be in charge of decision making during combat.
Yes. Just you, your ship and your joystick (or mouse, mouse is also cute for pvp).
It has a unique inflight physics, a great and working economy, you can mine.
It´s great and we dont want that it dies
Well...it's not an rpg...that's the problem. MMO? Yes. RPG? Nope.
Twitch combat is based on the player's reflexes. First Person Shooters are twitch, combat sims (like flight) and that sort of game have twitch combat.
so...u mean like
u control the fighting?

I come from a FPS community and have been playing the same FPS game (tribes) for like 5 years and have never heard the therm "twitch" combat. To me it sounds kinda dumb but whatever.
Tribes is mmorpg? No mmo in tribes, no rpg in tribes.
The FPS comunity don't use the term twitch combat because FPS IS twitch combat. I bet fish don't descibe the sea as "wet" but a seal damn well would. Whether a game can be called an RPG or not depends on your definition. Gnereally an rpg involves creating a character or using a pre-genned character. It involves a plot or storyline, usually several, and how you act determines some of the conclusion. Interaction with the environment via NPCS is also another little gem that pops up and once we start discussing "RPG elements" we're playing with fire. I've had sneering remarks from several Table top roleplayers over calling Final Fantasy an RPG.
In terms of whther twitch combat is acceptable or not really depends on the game. With a hard sci-fi game involving ranged weaponry such as Neocron it fits right in. With traditional fantasy RPG's twitch combat is really out of place unless you REALLY get in depth with the whole parry, thrust stuff.
I found it to be a bit like eve online but slightly less boring.
This type of games at least for me do not seems very into the MMO way.
Personally not the game for me.
But it has a free trial period and like any game with free trial period you should always try them out because you would be shocked to find out this was the game for you.
