Any fellow CUers playing WoW or want to?

MajiinXMajiinX Member CommonPosts: 89

I know most people hate WoW but right now its my PvP timesink and I was curious if any of my fellow CU backers are playing WoW or interested. I'm just playing for fun doing  arena, BG and RBG so if anybody if anybody plays or wants to play let me know I'd be happy to help out and have some fun and if we can get enough people even start a guild that we can carry into CU.

Primary is Majiinx on Kargath horde side totally fine with playing X-Realm, my battletag is majiinx#1913

Lol no, haven't played wow for 8 years.

Why would someone looking forwards to a pvp mmo play a raid grinder ran by raiders for raiders.

Considering that you have next to no experience with WoW or its PVP,  it seems kinda lame to make blanket statements about the game.

@OP:  If you don't mind doing a server xfer, you should check out the Emerald Dream (RP-PVP) server.  It has one of the (if not the) most active world PvP scenes.   There are huge guilds on both factions that are completely dedicated to WPVP.

On the Horde side, check out Warsong Battalion, it's almost always member capped (1000) and does nightly WPVP raids along with RBG's.

I moved to that server about 4 months ago and it's really refreshed the WoW experience for me.  A few RL friends xferred shortly after and have been loving it.

If you enjoy PvP, it's a really solid server.

I saw enough of wow pvp from launch until about a month after bc when I quit.

It's one of the worst mmo pvp experiences I've ever had.

And it is a raiding mmo ran by raiders. Just about all the main designers on wow are ex EQ raiders.

You've changed your WoW experience quite a bit from your original statement (going from a few months played to over 2 years).

That being the case, you've definitely had enough experience to form a reasonable opinion and I respect it.    I just didn't want to see someone who played for 3 or 4 months at launch making such a broad, negative statement about the current state of the game.

  • I played and enjoyed WoW for multiple years. But I dislike that most MMOs coming out these days are shaped in the same mold as WoW. I've already played that game. Bring on something different, like CU or Star Citizen. :)

Ahh can't server xfer too many characters would be too much LOL. But would definatly be down for x-realm BG and RBG with some fellow CUers :D

I can totally see why it would turn you off but the game is completely different. PvP is now totally separate from PvE and I would say that blizzard focuses as much on PvP as they do PvE. All do is PvP outside of a few daily quests and gathering here and there 90% of my time is spent in a battleground or arena.

AnyhowI'm not trying to start any arguments about this game or that game, I'm very excited for CU and I like this community and WoW just happens to be how I'm spending my time ATM I'm sure when ESO comes out I'll try that too. Just looking to play with people who have a passion for CU and intend on being apart of it who happen to also be spending their time in WoW right now.
