    lol no....its free up to level 10..in this small crapy area...but after 10 if you want to explore you have to pay 15 bucks a month if i am correct.

    Never heard about playing for free till past lvl 10. I have seen them offer free one month but that about it. In simple terms game is no wair near free just to get running with all the perks need all the expantions you can live with out probly 1/2 of them but still have that nice 14.99 monthly fee unless you have cash and can pay bulk. If you want free go to Guild Wars.

    no he is thinking of eq2 im pretty sure, as far as i know there is no trial for eq1

    No, there really is a free trial for EQ1 also. Same deal as "TRial of the Isle", basically-- you get the tutorial area. It's called "Escape to Norrath".

    Try the Escape to Norrath deal (www.escapetonorrath.com), if you dig it, you can pay $ 12.95 a month.

    I recommend trying it
