This game is the best.

I was playing neverwinter but this seems better the only problem is that the character creation is not as good as neverwinter.

    Character customization trumps character creation any day.

    be sure to add the code you get from raptr to a free game account if you add it to one that was subbed before you wont get the 30 day play time, has to be a new account that only lets you go to from vl 1-20 from the start. you can just login and leave it there for a few hours to get the code to.

    How does this work?? Never heard of raptr. I create an account and then what? I get a free game and expansion? Can't be that easy lol

    you have to make the raptr account then dl the desktop app then run rift  for 14 hours with raptr on.then you go to raptr dashboard and claim the code. take the code to rift website and apply, bam you get the game + the exp +30 days play time. i did it but i added it to my old account so i only got the exp that i never payed for an no 30 days. Yes it is that easy.

    agreed here you can get a free copy of rift and storm legion through raptr by just logging into a trial account or using your old rift account and just getting storm legion instead for free. Either way you just run your game for 14 hours and raptr will give you CD keys, pets, and wardrobe items. Even if you think Rift is just a okay game , its well worth the download and hassle to leave your game on for 14 hours if you ever do plan to try rift or play it in the future and dont already have storm legion. After june 12th storm legion souls will cost you money to use them if you dont already have storm legion and any character you make now using raptr will have all the bag slots and wardrobe slots unlocked so you wont have to pay a dime to play rift in the future if you just go ahead now and make your toons and get the expansion. You literally wont beat this deal anywhere and its 100% legit i got my girl storm legion on her old rift account using this.

    Was one of my all time favorite games. So much to do at end game. I just don't have enough time anymore to justify a sub, but I played a good 6 months so I'm looking forward to going back.

    So lets see. I have created one raptr account. I already had a Rift game bought from when it released. If I log into my Raptr account, then log with my Rift account for 14 hours, I will get just the expansion and 30 days right?

     

    And if I create a new Rift account, I would get the full game plus expansion plus 30 days. Doing this, should I create another Raptr account? Or the one I just created works for different Rifts accounts? I don't know if they just give you a code you use in your Rift account or you use it in Raptr directly

    You get a code and can apply it to any game account you like. If you add the code to a non-lite account (an account that has been upgrade to the full version of the original game) you will only get the Storm Legion upgrade, not the 30 days. If you add it to a Lite account you get everything.

    You can only get the code once on Raptr. So if you wanted more than one code you need to use another Raptr account and log another 14 hours.

    Heals are crazy OP in PVP, I'll admit, but other than that the game is lots of fun.

    I earned my free key...and sadly, out of the 40 or so people I regularly game with, not a single one was interested in it. Ended up giving it away to a complete stranger. The only thing that sucks is a lot of people have been spoiled with the new combat systems and reverting back to tab-target is hard for many. I love that style of gameplay, but for others it's hard to "go back" as they see it.

    I have an old account, so I assume I can still get the code from Raptr and give it to a friend who's new to the game yeah?

    EDIT: But oh wait I don't have the expansion. Maybe I'll take the code and leave my friend in the dirt :)

    I've tried to like RIFT so many times, but it's the combat that kills it for me. It's sooooo boring. It feels way to spammy as well. It's definitely not an elegant combat system. The world is nice though and I love artifact finding.

    swtor f2p (not only) sucks.

    nwo sucks, both the game itself and the f2p model.

    gw2 is a good game but imo the epitome of boredom. cant stay even half an hour in game.

    wow is good but thats enough. no more after so many years...

    TSW is a good game but modern time? nty

    wildstar, eso, archeage etc are too far away from their release.

    so i returned to rift and i m having much fun. great game, great f2p model. got raptr reward and i m  lvling a mage, until 12-6 that goes free and i will get my original account back.

    imo, at least for the present time, rift seems the best choice

    I did the Raptr thing, logged in and left the game client running overnight, got the key for my wife, and uninstalled Raptr. Worked out nicely. :)

    character creation system is far better than the "giant" WoW. graphics is also better than WoW. class building system is far better than WoW. pve and pve are of the same quality as WoW, quality not quantity though. and this game is going f2p this june, so obviously the problem i had playing in dead starter zone will be gone too soon. going to jump in as soon as it goes f2p.

    you dont have to wait until 12-6. you can take the raptr reward (game+exp+30 days game time) and start right now.

    already ppl are jumping every day in the game. servers are getting packed, in every zone you see lots of ppl doing things in open world and not in instanced places.

    imo its a high quality game and its fun.
