What game can you recommend after WoW?

still playing WoW but can you guys recommend a good game that i can play alongside WoW that is not fantasy based but more of sci-fi.
i saw some posts somewhere recommending Eve Online (heard some good things about the game at the general discussion and the fact thats its the top game here...) and SWG.What can you say about it?
I already played Earth and Beyond but wasnt really impressed about it .

Currently Star Wars Galaxies is having a trial. Like most SOE trials, they will only let you go so far into the game. With the New Game Enhancements, SWG is more like WoW.
Eve remains to be a great concept, but the actual game play is horridly boring imo. If CCP would do something (I have no idea what) to improve the game's pacing I'd be back playing. Like SWG, Eve is currently having a 14 day trial.
Saga of Ryzom is scf-fi-like. I only played for a few days in the trial, so I won't comment on game play. The game too has a trial.
IMO, keep an eye on Pirates of the Burning Sea. I know it's not a sci-fi game, but how can you give up a chance to commonly use such cool words like: booty, swag, arggg.

You cant play Eve alongside WoW. In fact, I doubt you could play WoW alongside Eve. Eve is a great game but it takes too damn long to accomplish anything. It has Everquest style time consumtion, you spend hours upon hours fighting, mining, traveling ... you cant just stop, get somewhere in 5 mins becuase u want to do it. Most of its content and the majority of fun starts after you have a lot of money and a great corp. If you plan on spending 1-2 hours daily then you aint gonna get anywhere in Eve. But if 8 hours a day is fine with you, then you can get into all the fun fairly fast. Just remember, all skills in Eve are real time based, that means if u want to pilot the biggest, baddassed ship out there, you will have to wait several real time months before u can learn it.

Do you have another computer to play two games at the same time or are you looking for another game to play while you are tired of WoW?
i wanna try another game other than WoW coz im getting a little bored with the same game.i want a sci-fi game this time. i heard eve is pretty good and even better than SWG.
Eve can't be compared with WoW coz its totally different, those two games. if you wanna try Eve then just go for it. the game is great. i play it alongside WoW and i find no prob with. my only advice for you is to join a corp as early as possible coz after that itll much easier for you to have something to do and you get to enjoy the game more quickly.
EVE Online is supposed to be awesome, but I've heard that the learning curve is a little steep. It's also PvP so be sure that's what you want.
You could try RF online when that comes out. It's giving a good impression so far, I look forward to it
I actually played the korean beta of this last year, and it was pretty fun from what i played. I also am done playing WoW now, or just about to be done. The game has lost its shine and I've done just about everything I can do in that game... and the upcoming expansion doesn't look very fun, just more content...

i saw the news here about Eve breaking another PCU record by having like 17 or 18 thousand players in a single server at once. impressive....
i played City of Villians for a little while. its not that bad. besides that, people rave about EVE online, but i have never played it.
I gave it a try but the fact that you could not exit your ship (like you could even do in Earthand Beyond) just took the immersion out for me. That and the combat looks rather chessy from all of the real time vids I have seen...
I would recommend AO its more indepth (implants, shopping) then WOW the only downfall is the graphics are outdated. PVP actually mean something in AO unlike WOW.
Face if Mankind is in open beta and might give you something else to do, plus it has PVP.

I agree with what's been said about Eve. It's a great game but has a very steep learning curve and is for a certain type of player only. I wouldn't think it would sit well with playing WoW. Eve is not a game you can dip into for a bit of light relief from your main game.
I'd suggest these, given your wish for Sci-Fi.
SWG - I don't wish to rub it into the vets, I was a long time player myself and feel for you, but it is now MMOROPG 'lite' due to NGE.
AO - It's old sure, but it's *free* for the original game.
Tabula Rasa - Due for release in January, although may slide again http://www.playtr.com/.
