Hello, ive been looking around and i cant find any mmorpg's with no subscriptions exept for guild wars.

Can anyone enlighten me on a great game with no monthly fee's or subscriptions?

    i meant an actuall game

    i dont mind paying 40-50$ for the game

    as long as theres no subcriptions

    hmmmm i can not think of any at this moment. maybe you oculd try some of those free games that are only free cause you can buy ingame items with real cash like maple story....but it doesnt really have much content and i cant belive people play past level 10 on that game.

    Hi! I know a game which you buy from a game store and has no monthly fees its about $10-$20 it's called Guild Wars made from one of the best Online Gaming company's around! NcSoft! Good graphics good detail and has kind people playing the game!

    You serious its still $50! LOL! it's only 25pounds over here! I thought it wud be alot cheaper seem as though it came out in the US first...

    Yep, I'm waiting for Roma Victor to launch next year - at last. In the meantime go check out some of the free trials - there are plenty around.

    False.  The monthly fee may not be a subscription, but something far more insidious.

    It is not free, as they will be selling in-game coin directly for real money and adjusting game mechanics to coerce players to do so.

    It says right on their website that the revenue system to support RV will be based on the expectation that "MANY" players will be buying in-game coin with real money, otherwise they won't be able to support the game.

    Anarchy Online is the only MMOG I can think of that is truly free, at least the basic game for the next year. It is not one of those so called free games that sells items/coin/advantages directly and therefore is not expected to be free. AO is supported by in-game advertising.
