my eternal question

riggsvilleriggsville Member Posts: 15

i've worn my fingers out going from website to website to find out if a particular game is single player friendly

so i'll just ask

how is "the chronicle" stacking up for single player style?

don't want to start a debate (again) about what makes up a MMORPG - to each his own - for me i want a game i can play by myself at any time but one that has the living, breathing dynamics of a world made by real people - team up once in a while, sure, but don't force me

I believe I'm capable of answering this question:

With Real-Time/Real-Space combat, the better your personal skill, the more likely you can solo anything. Techincally, it'll be possible to solo anything... if you have great personal skills, and ingame skills to match.

So yes, anything is actually soloable.

thanks for the reply - but

WOW is not a solo game after a certain point - from what i understand (only got to about level 36 before quitting) all the higher level quests in WOW takes a team

EVE-Online level 3/4 missions takes several people no matter what your skill level

DnD has no solo content at all

those are all the ones i know about

what i want to know without trying to figure it out from reading endless stuff on the website is

The Chronicle - is it a solo friendly game - at least from what you can tell right now?

...I don't know what those games have planned... I didn't last long in WoW when I played, I haven't played DDO, EVE I'm more a harvesting type player mostly... but I don't work for the companies that make those games.
But as I said, in The Chronicle, anybody can solo anything. The big question is, do you have the personal skill to react fast enough to solo what you're trying to kill.

It's not a matter of ingame skill, it's a matter of real life skill.
