I'm so confused. Why would you not play it if its going to be on the ps4 as well? Who care's? Unless it directly affects the PC users in a negative fashion...who care's? Ahhh your posts make no sense..
It's incredibly rare for a crossover game to not screw over PC gamers.
i played morrowind, oblivion, and skyrim all on a PC knowing you could also play it on consoles and it didn't seem to effect my enjoyment much.
some of the things people complain about crack me up sometimes lol
Single player boxed games don't get the same treatment as a crossover MMO does. They are infamous for cutting corners and forcing console interfaces and control schemes on PC gamers.
Something tells me this is the "real" reason why they went with a minimal interface all along. On top of that, PS4 now gets first access to beta as well and is probably responsible for the delay into Spring 2014.
i knew this was going to happen as soon as they started talking about phasing and player choices, factions and 50++...pvp campaigns. a cheap way to cover up that its a damn xbox game from the start. a normal mmo would be better then this. How come theres only 4 archtype classes and only the templar can heal without the restoration staff? dungeons are 4 players not 6. Tell me this..why make 3 factions like this, and then let guilds and raids be cross faction? who the hell would gear up the enemy? its because its a console based instance setup.

final fantasy sounds great.
Well you won't be able to play the pvp portion of the game alone that's for sure.

on the PC at least, text is too slow for PVP, which is why Voice comms programs like TS3 Ventrilo and Mumble are as popular as they are, their also the most used Voice Comms, in games that provide it natively, which basically means, if a player doesnt have access to his guilds TS3, Ventrilo or Mumble server, they will pretty much be excluded.

It means the game gets bottle necked to the lowest device on which it's released i.e PS4
you are kidding right ? lowest device ? PS4 ? dude PS4 is probably way over 70% the computers that will play ESO. You got to be joking ... PS4 has an octacore and 8 GB of GDDR5 RAM, dude look at games like Drive Club or Killzone Shadow Fall (the real gameplays presented at the PS4 live event) and please tell me one game that actually beats those graphics and is on PC, to hell with it I saw no PC game that actually beats that PS3 real time demonstration with Kara (no it's not a real title just a demonstration of the actual rendering power of PS3 in real time) ... I hope I misunderstood your message or you really don't know what you are talking about.
EDIT: there actually is a graphically astonishing PC game ; Star Citizen but it will be launched way after the PS4 launch and besides it's not even a MMO (or at least the makers claimed so).
an amd and 8 gigs of ram. what a damn wonderfull thing. wooo thats soo much better then peoples pc. yea man. i mean shit. its not like i anit running a 6000 res and got thousands of cores 16 gigs of ram etc. maybe i want to actually feel like im in a game world with other people. like in age of conan or something. maybe 4 man dungeons and one real healer isnt enough for me. i guess its too much to ask to be able to see the other players in pve as i adventure.
fools, there is a larger agenda pushing these game companies into this model to make pc building and things less relevant. those new consoles will spy on you and watch you. software will allways push for more microtransactions and all files will be scanned to see if they are paid for. avi files, music, everything.
this is the end of an era in technology and the community is failing to understand.

You don't have to buy a console if you don't like them.
they dont scan my face and the face of everyone in the house and create a profile, record everyones emotions and other things you wont believe. its alot safer then a console. not to mention alot less slave labor went into the making of my machine. i dont care that they know i watch redtube and i use a bt proxy for my 8 tb of stolen content.

how can it spy on you and scan your face if you play it offline though?

You really had to show off your computer specs ? dude maybe you do have an awesome PC but remember games aren't made for YOUR PC, it's sad when you realize that you are not the only player in the world, damn remember that a mmo has thousands maybe hundreds of thousands of players, they don't all have your computer and some can't even afford it and thus the game must be adjusted for allowing even some of the not so great computers to play. Besides I don't get what's the problem with AMD, their processors are running great, or are you an intel devoted ? And the RAM ? what damn game is using more then 4-5 GB of RAM ? of course your Windows/Mac/Linux might use some GB of RAM but remember that the OS is specially made for games and thus it will not use as much RAM as the computer ones .
We, the ones that don't have 16GB of ram and an intel i7 are totally sorry for ruining your games with our wooden computers.
i want everyone to experience an mmo and play with me. i want to pvp and raid hard content with you guys. they prevent that from happening. thats why im upset. look at this crap and tell me im wrong.
Microsoft has filed a patent that suggests it is interested in using Kinect to count the number of people in a room in order to charge each person for providing pay-per-user content. The patent outlines how a camera could be used with face and gesture recognition as part of a Kinect-style system to enforce “age and identity restrictions” on certain kinds of content, effectively granting copyright holders virtual access to private dwellings, as Wired described it.

You're wrong. There are plenty of MMO's out there that attempt to cater to every one of those needs, it just so happens that the vast majority of them fail terribly.
Good on TESO if they try something completely outside the box. ANYTHING would be better than more of the same, I dont care what the hell it is. I dont care if you dont like the game or if the game is a horrible failure. As long as they show me they're trying to market something different, I will give it a go. And it really will only enhance my fun if I know it pisses a lot of dogmatic MMO fundamentalists off to no end. Dont ask me why, Im just spiteful like that.

With respect to pvp and raiding... nothing has changed. I doubt that anyone who already has a PC and was looking to play ESO is all of a sudden going to switch over to play it on a PS4 or Xbox.
This game, just like any other MMO these days, is going to have a lot of solo content--maybe even more solo content than Skyrim had. That's going to be the main appeal to console gamers...at least at first. If they make it easy to communicate with others, which is typically where console MMOs fall appart, maybe they will get a good MMO experience also. This is not the only MMO slated for next gen console release. I expect that if they do well, they'll need to support at least voice chat.
Meanwhile, those of us on PCs looking forward to groups of 24 in Cyrodiil for PVP raiding... we'll use Vent + KB chat just like we always planned to. At worst we'll have the MMO we were always going to have except we now get it B2P thanks to the subsidy from the millions of console players who will also buy it as a kind of "Skyrim +"
....
With respect to the Xbox 1 with compulsory Kinect and weird intrusive restrictions on used or borrowed SP games... Microsoft just blew it. This is the console equivalent of Windows 8 when they tried to impose a touch/tablet interface on the world. The vast majority of us who upgraded simply to have the latest OS tech ignore Metro... I use "Start 8" which restores the full functionality of 7. I haven't even seen "Metro" in months.
The same arrogant top-down approach is all over the new Xbox and unless they do a quick about face, the PS4 is going to kick its ass big time. This Big Brother "feature" on the Kinect will be just another nail in the coffin. MS is just acting like the giant corporate asshat it is. With Win8 they opened up the door even wider for people to look more closely at alternatives. They're doing the exact same thing with the Xbox.

You obviously haven't played final fantasy 11 and 14 then.
