Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn: Beta Phase 3 Brings PS3 Into the Mix

As today's Final Fantasy XIV Beta Phase 3 begins, PlayStation 3 players will be able to get in to try out the game. PC and PS3 players will game side-by-side due to cross-platform compatibility.

Beta phase 3 introduces the PlayStation®3 version of the game into the mix for the very first time and PlayStation®3 gamers will be able to experience the captivating world of Eorzea alongside PC players due to the game’s cross-platform functionality. Beta phase 3 testers will also gain access to a huge amount of new content, including the introduction of the city states of Ul’dah and Limsa Lominsa.

It's not too late to sign up for testing on the Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn site.

    Got mine to............. XD can't wait to play it. To all that didn't get it i might have another one on the way idk yet but ill post if i do and give it to a lucky person.

    I got an email but it doesn't say if it's for pc or ps3. Do ps3 codes specifically say for ps3 use or can I use for either pc or ps3

    If it's 12 digits it's a PSN code. I think 16 or 20 is PC. They are not interchangeable.

    got a code today myself, it was for PC, 20 digits. 

    are the forums down? I click on the link to DL and it just is a dead page

    this is already quite possibly the most annoying beta ever, and no not because the servers are down, or the forums are crashed.

    cause I'm sick of entering my name and password on every damn refresh

    I played for an hour after the servers cam up and had no problems with anything... maybe all the new people finally finished downloading the game and bumrushed the servers to death...

    People who get PS3 invites....seems a lot of them got out and send to North american users but the codes were for UK systems...so they wont work :(

    Beta 3 (the one that just started) is 4-5 weeks, Open beta is 2-4 weeks, but it all depends on the state of the game could be longer/shorter.  Game has been in beta since February and Alpha since December.
