Warning this game is a scam! [ Mod note - Misleading title]

in Final Fantasy XIV

Most sources that sell the game, including official Square Enix store, sell the game pre-order very cheap without telling that you'll need to pay additional fees (monthly subcription) to play the game.

I nearly fell for it and thought it's a B2P game.

    Ohhhh Lordy.  Heaven forbid a pay 2 play game with a monthly subscription.  What has the world come to.

     

    It's not a scam, seriously, don't make such a stupid header title for something that is irrelevant. 

     

    The game is cheaper to begin with, only 30 dollars, 22.50 if you get it while it's on sale for 25% off right now, and you get 1 month for free, then you'll have to pay monthly afterwards.  It's an amazing game and well worth 22 dollars even if you only play it for one month and don't want to resub.

    (deleted insults about ability to read) Seriously.  At no point did this game EVER claim to be B2P.  Just because F2P is the niche you like to indulge in.. keep it out of my games.  I like P2P.  Keeps the lame-o whiners out.

    lol are you kidding me, there is no scam here, its plastered everywhere that the game requires a subscription, 1.0 required a subscription, the website FAQ says it needs a subscription, when you preorder it says the game requires a subscription.

    Dont go calling scam and making such ridicoulous posts because you didnt spend 5 secs informing yourself.

    Not to mention OP has 1600+ posts on this website you think he'd utilize it's game list feature... Especially before heading a thread outlining the game as a "scam."

    I thought it was pretty well-known SE is going P2P especially now days when this is a foreign concept to MMO's
