This game just came back on my radar, and after a few days of diving into details I'm quite excited about the prospect of it becoming a new gaming home for me. Hoping to find a FC/LS I can hook up with the enjoy it to its fullest.
I'm a 30 yo finance professional - before real life took over I had extensive experience participating in and leading guilds in a variety of games starting with Anarchy Online in 2001. Now days I`m a more Casual player - 15 - 25 hours a week. Looking for a laid back group that takes things seriously enough (actually fits into the game with a proper name, and mature players) but not too seriously (isn`t counting hours and dictating schedules). I`m based in EST, but have often joined Euro guilds when presented with the right fit. Have a strong preference for a non-legacy server, but for the right group I would change that.

I just read your post and believe that you can fit right in with our current community. We are NA based, with many of our players (including myself) in the EST. We will be playing on the Leviathon server, which is a non-legacy server that you prefer as well.
You can consider us as a laid back group but with ambition to pursue end-game progression. However, we are by no means rushing to experience the end-game content. When the time comes, we will plan events for our players, but as you said, we will not dictate your schedule for you. If you can make some events, great. If you have to miss some events due to work or other personal reasons, we won't hold it against you.

I always believed that is better to have more options than none. So I would like to introduce myself, my name is Andy, I am recruiter for the FFXIV chapter with Tribe. As reflected by our name we are a determined group of people who will strive towards our goals while enjoying our gaming experience together.
Tribe is NA based guild with majority members in the EST/CST, but we accept any players regardless of time zone. We are currently rolled on the Midgard Server (non-legacy) for beta Phase 3 and pursing a non-legacy server at launch. Most of our members are working adults in our 20s-30s, but we have some outside that range, which I believe you would fit right in.
