There are a lot of things this game does ok but there are a few that REALLY suck. Any hope they will be fixed or adjusted with release? I've pretty much stopped playing this game...
1. Itemization is aweful. You got what 5-6 different equipment appearances?
2. Bags, what bags... The socket system really eats up inventory space and don't you know there are no bags in the game at all. To get a bag costs you $10 in real money....
3. Language management. There isn't any management of different language speaking people. Everyone is mixed so when you got a group half the people don't speak english... Kinda sucks for pickup groups.
4. Exploits and bugs... guess that goes with any new game.
Anyway that's the main list. Any chance any of these will be fixed with release?

Good thing I uninstalled this POS with the Cat saturday, none of my friends play it now.
It could have been a good game, if it wasnt Cryptic and perfect world...there goes another D&D title
Source?
I'm sorry, this is something you just "know", right?
I am very much hoping that this is sarcasm, lol.
Anyway, for the OP. Here is a list of improvements that will be implemented soon.
Balance and Gameplay Update
I would just give the list a once over to see if anything in there is of interest.
I also read the big balance update notes.....noticed most of it was: "Reduced damage on..." or "Removed the protection from......" or "Players may no longer be effected by more then......." in most of it.
So they still plan to keep the things like Cleric: Class Feature <righteousness> -60% penalty.
And they plan to keep things like the cleric only able to heal 2500 in one minute while a player can use 5 potions and heal themselves 15,000 in that same minute.
They have not fixed the agro bug on clerics....or the reversed armor on great weapon fighters.....or the plethora of other things like the sorting in the auction house is still broken......and it seams players have figured out how to use the negative thing again.......and they have negative time items there as well again.
I am a bit worried about the fate of this game.
Lol, how many members your guild has is totally irrelevant. What's important is how many of them have actively played in the last week, and how long they played for (in case they're just logging in to pray for free AD)
Most F2P publishers use the same tactics as you do. PWE will most likely announce quite soon that NW now has "over 1 million registered players". That's the beauty of F2P games, the "amount of registered players" will only ever increase. Five years from now, NW will have 5 million registered players, but only 50 of them will actually be logging-in and playing...
From your previous posts I can see, you are a small neverwinter hater.
Even you don't like the game for which reason it ever could be, doesn't give you the rights to throw out lies about it. This behavior is more likely known as Trolling.
Yeah..... 400 members my ass. How many ACTIVE members? And those numbers aren't really all that strong as most "dead" MMO guilds easily meet that number. Granted 1k pop is ridiculous but certainly not anything to boast about.
Any rate there will likely be a rival of population when the new content releases but will be short lived. Especially at the end of the year when Wildstar, ESO, and EQN are all released. Neverwinter will become a dead MMO in 1/2 a year's time.
XFire shows it still going on a steady decline, which is a good indication of trends. In the end Neverwitner will be for those who are too stingy with their waller. Just like some of the community that say they won't pay a sub or initial purchase because they can't affort, how pathetic is that?
What a ridiculous and blatant lie. This is the kinda crap that should get you a 24 hour ban. Just trolling for the sake of it.
Let me go ahead and fill you in on how Xfire works with every single MMO that is released.
They all go on a decline after the first month -gasp-
While we know these other titles are going to do better than Neverwinter... they will show similar trends.
I´m not interested in Neverwinter anymore untill they open a new server to star fresh.
Current servers have broken economies. Besides that Cash shop prices are ridiculous... 10e for a bag...40e for a mount? Givemme a break...
And i don´t think they are addressing that on release....
How long are you able to keep mail before it disappears. If this works, I admit it is a nice workaround and expect a "fix" as soon as possible.
The AD to Zen price has been steadily dropping. Which is generally good.
I'd expect them to start having better sales in the Zen shop soon. I also avoid buying stuff from there at current rates.
However, they will never open another server. They have stated this several times and they actually plan to merge them all at some point.
I know, it's shocking ain't it?
I wanted to play Neverwinter on the side, casually with my friends. I enjoyed watching the combat in videos, and knew that the game had no substance, so I figured I could play it casually and still have some fun. It just didn't work out, and theres no way they could fix and improve this turd by June 20th to make me want to play again.
My biggest disappointments were the fact that in 3 days of casual playing and almost hitting 20 (wtf?), I couldn't find a single person that was actually reading chat or interested in planning, organizing or communicating at all. Neverwinter is on rails like a single player game and all new MMOs, so theres almost no interdependence, and no sense of community. As you get higher level, there was the occasional zonewide request for parties, but after joining groups, there was no further communication. I guess when you design games with single player progression, this is what happens.
Worst of all was playing a guardian fighter. The class is completely broken. The Block skill which they depend on so desperately constantly just stops working while you still have plenty of endurance. Then the other half the time, it appears that you are blocking, but you aren't. How do bugs like this still exist? Amateur hour.

Well another one bites the dust. If EQ Next doesn't pan out, I think I'm done with MMOs for good.
Oh well....then it was a fun two weeks in open beta.... that´s all for me then.
I notice you ignored the dungeons, skirmishes, the Foundry (lots of awesome player-created content there), and the several large NW social communities.
The RP community, for example, is all about communicating & organizing dungeon runs, skirmishes, even PvP. They're already planning out Gauntlgrym 20v20 faction runs. They're the smallest community in the game, and yet they have several hundred active (yes, ACTIVE) members.
You obviously just weren't looking beyond Zone & local chat, or beyond the basic story missions. There's way more to do than you claimed.
As for GFs, I play one & haven't seen the problem you're talking about - especially not since the recent major update.
I AM going to complain about the Zen-store prices, which are ridiculous ($30 for a mount now? Really?). And the balance is completely off, since they keep trying to balance it either for PvP or PvE, and not really getting either right. Clerics need work, though they aren't meant to only be constant heal-bots like they are in other games. GWFs need a bit more survivability, too... or at least better dodging capability.
Just my 2 cents.
That is purely speculative. You don't really know what you are talking about. You (and perhaps all your friends) have decided you no longer want to play the game and that's fine but don't be so arrogant to assume your tastes in games is the barometer of which all games are judged. The game itself is fine now that they fixed most of the balance issues. It's a fun game to play but there have been challenges during open beta. It was too easy to get everything in the open beta so people who started on day one are basically "done" for now. Even if you throw all of the currently playing players out, the game is still a good, solid game that has great potential through the foundry and big group stuff like Gauntlgrym.
Reality check: The number of players playing each month will always vary and not likely continuously grow. This is not a subscription game and they have NO FINANCIAL MOTIVE to keep people playing month after month. They could have a completely different set of people playing from month to month and that would be perfectly okay. This game generates revenue most when people are starting new characters and getting started for the first time. So think about that a bit before you blast it. Once you have your level 60 guy and have all the gear and stopped buying stuff for it, you no longer matter to the game provider unless you spend a little bit of money from time to time or do something to feed their systems like selling stuff for AD.
Game had great posibilities but the exploits fucked it up bad and the biggest problem was that Perfect World didnt give a shit about it laughed with the players and just gave everyone crap recompesation.
Ive spended about 300$ on the game including the biggest founder pack North one and after 6 weeks ive finnaly got my money back by contacting some external company to look into my case cause from there support you wont have an answer
And I can tell you all, not me nor my friends will ever and I mean EVER touch a game that will be distributed by Perfect World.
Support and the attitude to paying customers are just plain ridiculous they dont respect you at all !!!

I am happy that you feel you got your monies worth. However, I think it is safe to say that is much more money than your average gamer is willing to throw at a product such as this.
All of the other games you listed have substantially more content and development time than Neverwinter. All of them also have more sane shops. Personally as Neverwinter stands currently, I would consider all of those other titles a better value in the long run.
If the Foundry can become more feature rich and useful, my thoughts would change. Right now though, it pales when compared to toolsets from past games. It really isn't any better than the Star Trek Online toolset and it lacks flexibility for truly diverse content.
