Neverwinter: Alchemy Profession Coming

The next Neverwinter update will feature a new profession, Alchemy. Alchemists will be able to create powerful buffing and healing potions and dye packs as well.


  • Special Dye Packs through Alchemy. You'll be able to create dyes with a variety of colors that were once only available for a specific class. If you've ever wanted to stand out amongst the crowd, now is your chance!

  • Extra healing and buffing potions. If you've ever needed to or wanted to stock up on Tidespan, Fortification, or other types of helpful potions to prepare for a difficult dungeon delve, then look no further than your Alchemy skills!

    Another professions that takes a free user 58 days to max, or pay2win and do it in 1 hour.

    Have not played NwN yet but the game is there to make money. NOTHING iss ever really free.

    I played and beat it already. Now they bring in alchemy!!! LOL!!!

    I'm sure the Cash Shop will get a huge boost from this new profession.

     

    No doubt the 'best' potions will require blue or purple crafting assets, which can only be bought in the CS or for a few 100K astral diamonds from other players (who bought them).

     

    But at least you'll be able to craft dyes, which are currently almost exclusively CS items.

    But I expect that there will be a 'rare' ingredient for the dye recipe which most people will just end up buying from the CS...

    Really excited knowing there an alternate profession that will be beneficial to my Great Weapon Fighter.  Mailsmithing is level 20 and Leadership is level 14 but LS isn't that useful other then an alternate source to make gold and astral diamonds.  Alchemy will be fun and useful.

     

    Neverwinter is one of the coolest and most fun MMO's I've played in years even after 4 level 60's and all of them geared out with a 10k+ Gear Score.  Something about this game I love and can't way for the new patch.

    Sandbox means open world, non-linear gaming PERIOD!

    Subscription Gaming, especially MMO gaming is a Cash grab bigger then the most P2W cash shop!

    Bring Back Exploration and lengthy progression times. RPG's have always been about the Journey not the destination!!!

    The game is releasing tomorrow and you have 4 max level geared out characters. This is why I don't play anymore. I have 3 myself. This game is way too easy.
