Just bought secret world, its alright but already getting bored at the end of kingsmouth, Tera is alright but I dunno, its slowing down now that I am in my 40's. Not leveling speed, just overall enjoyment. I still play planetside 2 about an hour a night, neverwinter I got to 31 and stalled out from quest grind boredom, same with STO and EQ2 I just don't feel like devoting that much time to anymore for raiding.
I think Ive got MMO burnout. Gaming burnout might even be more descriptive, just nothing feels like it did that first time a buddy and I were exploring eq and came across Broon and we sat there and figured out the proon encounter or trying to figure out the darned GBS and being the second person to get it on my server...
kinda know what chasing the dragon means now I guess.

GW2, SW.TOR, TSW, RIFT and some Neverwinter, EQ2, Lotro, DDO and DCuO... they are all fun, but they also are far from perfect. But they are F2P (B2P) and you can easilly switch between them these days
And just hoping someone will make a game with all the good things from these games.
Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)
Interesting... seeing some more trends. I'll need to check out this Grim Dawn title; I haven't heard of it. Trying Uncharted Waters Online to be my slow and easy alternative to FireFall Beta. I'm liking it so far.
I've read every post, and I'd like to see where everyone else is, too.
Just went back to Rift. Having a blast with the melee Mage soul I hadn't played before.

Rift a little, WoT's, SHK's (2 years now), Spec Ops:The Line, and a few other games off and on while I wait to see if ESO and/or EQ Next are going to be worth a damn.
Vanguard: Saga of Heroes. Even though it's free to play I sub because it's well worth the $8 a month (3 month sub at a time)
I also have been trying different Betas. Since the NDA was lifted, I can say that I've been in FF14:ARR and think it's got promise. Key word is promise...
As for when I'm not in the MMO mood: Minecraft, Magic the Gathering Online, and STALKER Clear Sky (once I beat that I'll move on to Shadow of Chernoblyl and Call of Pripyat)...
Originally posted by AlmightyGod I played UWO when it was in testing a long while back. I don't think you could exit the boat at that time unless my memory fails. I watched a few First Impression videos of people getting uber-frustrated with the tutorial, so I think I might give it a try as well. Downloading now. It might be just different enough to balance out the twitchy other games I'm playing.
What you do on land has been a major part of the game right from launch. In fact, you start out on land, in a city, straight out of character creation.
A first impressions video of people ten minutes into the game being confused and frustrated sounds about right. Koei games aren't for easily-frustrated people with short attention spans. It's a very complicated game, and they throw you into the fire pretty fast.
DOTA 2 mostly and a little bit of Starcraft 2 but I am getting a bit burned out on SC2 after a billion hours played. I need games with tons to learn otherwise I get bored....

Trying a new MMO called The Hunter, and I have to say I have been very impressed...The graphics are incredible and the engine (designed by the company themsleves) is outstanding....Even though I myself am not a hunter I have really liked this game...It has a certain intensity to it that yo uwon't find in many MMOs anymore....The game is free and even a sub (less than 5 dollars a month) is very reasonable.....THsoe of you taht are bored with mainstream easy MMOs should give this one a look.....
