There is a very low details graphics setting for old machines... check the minimum specs

if you buy this game to log in and jump into pvp you are buying the wrong game
can you do it? theorically yes but you will hate the game
People need to understand that games and MMORPG have a way to be played and sometimes that way may not be your way
This MMORPG was made to be played in a certain way and if you play it in that way it shines and open up a lot of possibilies and freedom thanks to those initial boundery
those boundery are not set in stone by the devs you can log in and jump into pvp they let you "free" to do it but just because you are free to do it doesn't mean is the best way to play it.
people nowday totally have no clue about the meaning of "freedom" they pretend everything is the same and for them freedom means i can do everything and everything will give me the best result and will be fun and easy and all is the same.... but is not and it shouldn't be
the secret world has a way to be played that will make you really love the game and this way start with a PVE path. You may not like it then buy another game.
Once you accomplished the PVE path it open up to 2 path a more challenging PVE path (nightmare mode) or an equally challenging PVP one.
if you start nightmare in full purple QL10 (max lvl of ur gear after the PVE path) it will be an exercise of frustration you will not be able to end succesfull any of them untill u gear up it will be slow (unless u have friend in QL10.4 purple to help you but that is not the way the game was made for)
and if u do PVP you will lose as you will lose in NM you will get a little reward as u get a little reward doing NM not sucessfully...
and you will learn and get better and open up more of the 525 skill.... and keep changing ur built from DPS to tank to Healer... the game will really make you free.
but you ACHIEVE your freedom you dont log in and are "FREE" yeah theorically you are free... but if you join PVP in QL1 it wont be fun or easy to lvl up it wont be as enjoyable and amazing as following the very well written story!
tell me one game forum where i go and i read everybody talking good stuff about pvp in that game....

PVP is good
people is mediocre
it does result in mediocre PVP but because of people.
If you make a sligthly complicated pvp lot of player will straggle and will whine like babies saying they cannot win... and so pvp sux
PVP is not perfect but is very strategic build wise (one of the place where people fail hard) and very group based (let's not start how badly people fail here) one of the more intresting i played since AOC

this is my character and i did as u can see done quite a lot of pvp and yes the more a pvp is "difficult" the bigger the gap will be between beginners and veteran so if beeing destroyed as beginner by a group of veteran is sign of "mediocre PVP" again i blame people not the PVP in itself
you can only judge the pvp when u are part of the Veterans and play vs other Veterans... then you really see pvp shine
the real problem in TSW is mixing the Veteran with the Beginners and yes that is a real big sucky problem and i blame it all on funcom but the PVP when it really happen it's one of the finest.
