Using players as guides is a bad idea. It leads to corruption and favoritism. It was rampant in EQ1.
WoW didn't do it, if they can afford to hire enough staff, so can SOE.

Just don't do it. I was a guide for a while in EQ1 and it's just a pain in the butt. Sure it's fun at first but unless you like to be cursed at, abused, and listen to all the lil kiddies cry just don't. I thought they stopped this program in EQ1 for legal reasons?
Hey SOE, why don't you spend some money and hire more people?
Crazy idea uh?
"Welcome to Disneyworld! As an immense privilege to our best visitors, we will allow them to wear Goofy and Donald Duck suits to entertain the children for hours on end! Join now and you won't be paid, at all, zip, nothing, ever... because YOU pay for it. Are you excited yet?"
Haha.
This is for EverQuest, not Everquest 2.
I'd like to know if for a fact this is legit! Sony said they would never ever ask for your account name and password and that form asks for both!
How about an offical comment!
