If you're rich and want a variety of things to do get a PSP, if you're not rich and just want some light travel entertainment then Nintendo DS. Ipod seems a bit out of place ::::31::.

The PSP suffers in one aspect, it tries to be too many things at once.  If you want more of the same-old same old gameplay then yeah, get a PSP. I personally wouldn't spend an additional 10 bucks on a umd format movie. I am not into buying multiple copies of things. I had one at launch and sold it, I will pick one up again once it's better supported game-wise.

The ipod, no other company can touch it in terms of mp3 players, I originally purchased a mini, now I have a 20g full color photo ipod, a really good, solid device worth the money spent. (except the nano)

The DS offers really interesting and innovative gameplay. Between using the mic and stylus, so far none of the games I have played or own feel like a gimmick.

I'll go with the PSP. iPods are junk, and while a DS is a decent machine. To much junk software posing Nintendo's "we'll make nothing but stupid games to be different just for the sake of being different" attitude. My PSP games are just fun

admittedly, this entire topic is purely subjective and another my console is better than yours di*k waving-fest. I at least tried offering a point of view other than xconsole sucks, so buy console c answer.

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't you have to purchase the Internet Adapter or some device for the Nintendo DS to make it capable of its WiFi or internet capabilities? On the PSP it comes with it built inside, so not sure exactly what you mean by a cheaper price, unless you're signifying the console price itself.

DS has it built inside also, by cheaper he means the original price and memory sticks which are friggen expensive. You don't have to buy a memory stick but then you really won't be using the PSP to it's full effectiveness.

Ah nevermind you're right. I looked it up turns out its a first party router by Nintendo so they can connect to special Nintendo wi-fi spots or something close to that. The PSP comes with a 32 mb memory stick which is enough for game saves basically and a few songs. So that really hasn't much to do with Internet Capabilties but you sure are right about using the PSP to its full advantage with a bigger memory stick.
