What ever you play a good guild/clan/outfit can make a hugh difference.
This is one of the reason's I stopped playing EQ2, even though we where one of the strongest guilds on the serve I stopped playing as our core values had shifted, and there was only 2 original members left from the starting group
Guild Wars, in my opinion, doesn't have enough content (although it has been quite awhile since I've played it and I'm not sure what updates have brought to the table), but the PvP could get pretty intense. There was really no reason I saw to actually take the time to level a character to 20 yourself when you could just cut to the action and just start hacking away at Koreans (no offense) in the Champions Hall or whatever they called it. All in all there are some intense moments, especially in situation like 1v1v1 King of the Hill (we almost had the damn hill and then our entire team blew up from the timer it takes to win ), and I had fun for the time playing it, but there's not really any sense of accomplishment from levelling something to 20, when most games allow you to level to 50 or 60. Also, there is no real gear that you obtain to make yourself look different from the others.

Last game i played was WoW...

Currently I play CoV.
I can tell you the staff member Malkavian is playing, cause I see him! He just ignore me as much as on this site, so this is the real Malkavian!
I will try DDO in february for sure. If I bored of CoV i will stick to Civ4(not a MMO) until DDO come out.

Life is a bad MMORPG.
But with good Graphics 0_0
Anyone going to pst anymore?
Well, there's always stuff like Warring Factions if you've exhausted your supply of high-profile commercial MMORPGs.
Although I'm not sure if this sort of thing is up your alley; while there is a lot of roleplaying, it's very heavy on strategy (think Planetarion).
Asheron's Call now and forever. It's much better than WoW or Guild Wars.
Eve Online:Best game for open ended freedom and playerkilling,.Allso has awsome pvp wars and a Vary nice player driven econamy.
Guildwars:Awsome pvp and just might be the best pick up and play pvp out right now, allmost no grind.
And one day when Darkfall comes out ill be playing that.
Guild Wars: yeh I agree the pvp is really good lacks a strong and lasting story line though
Anarchy Online: If you like the grind this is one of the better games
I want to play darkfall when it comes out as well but RF looks really good as well
I've gone back to my old friend Anarchy Online.
Sure it's got the grind, but the game has so much depth and character customization that it makes the grind fun.
