That these forums are actually more civil than the beta forums. Literally every thread in those forums are filled with fanboys of 2.0, 1.0, and XI duking it out. If this were real we would see blood on the streets lol.
Any graphical, audio, or gameplay restrictions not seen in other mmos but found in FFXIV can be blamed on one thing.

They're all just being impatient and waiting for FFXIV servers to come up...
I've stopped going to the beta forums because it's always the same deal... and a lot of people make the dumbest comments... I don't even know where to begin. Lol.
I dont bother because of the stupid character and post limits they have. "Here give us feedback, but do it once every 15 mins and under 750 characters"

Over gameplay features whether 2.0 should be like 1.0 or XI. Combat, leveling, group content, difficulty, crafting. basically you name it and they are arguing over it. It would be comical except for the fact that SE doesnt seem to police it much.

all you do is highlight some of the post cut it then post what you have then edit it and paste the stuff you cutted it takes litterly 2 secs more
Yep it sucks but the trolling and what not was getting out of hand

Yah I was actually reading one of those a little while ago. As a non legacy member apparently I haven't earned the right to form an opinion so I chose to keep it to myself until such time as I have earned my wings so to speak..... or not speak actually......

I remember turning down betas because it was too much work.
My time is valueble, and I was donating it to certain games for free because I liked them, and wanted to make an effort to improve them.
Hundreds of hours testing stuff. Making spreadsheets. Giving feedback.
Now beta is a sneak-peek to check a game out. Hardly anyone gives a damn about actually beta-testing it. I'm guilty too. There is no way I would have actually beta tested any of the past five games I have been "beta-testing."
People whining on a beta-test forum that the game suck -and that's it as far as feedback goes. Terrible.
