MMORPG.com has partnered with Square Enix to give away keys to the NA PS3 version of the Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn beta test. We've only got 50 keys so grab one before they run out!

    I don't feel the love =-( This new rule where only one beta key per IP address really hurts. My husband got a key but I could not get one. How can we beta test new games together now?

    Whats the code I need to actually download the game client to my ps3, i cant find it anywhere in the instructions.

    Step 1: A Square Enix account is required for accessing the beta. Register here - http://www.square-enix.com/na/account/ 

    Step 2: Connect the PlayStation®3 system to a broadband connection

    Step 3: Sign in to your Sony Entertainment Network account on PlayStation®3

    If you do not have an SEN account, please register for one (more information on www.playstation.com)

    Step 4: Choose Account Management>Redeem Codes

    Step 5: Select Redeem Promotion Code - this brings up a screen to enter the twelve-digit PS3 code received - (ABCD-EFGH-IJKL). Download FFXIV folder.

    Step 6: Go to Games and open the FFXIV:ARR package to begin installation to the PS3 hard drive.

    Step 6: Accept terms of license agreement.

    Step 7: Follow Setup directions to: 

    • Link your Square Enix Account (login and password required)
    • Enter your 20-digit beta registration code (ABCD-EFGH-IJKL-MNOP-QRST) NOTE: BETA REGISTRATION CODE IS CAPITAL SENSITIVE. Please read the Beta Tester Agreement for NDA details before accepting. 
    • Link your SEN Username account to your Square Enix Account. This action cannot be undone. 
    • Once completed, the FFXIV:ARR PS3 client will be downloaded to your hard drive. This may take a while to download depending on your connection speed.

    You will need to create or login into your SEA account before entering the beta registration code. You can create your account ahead of time here: http://www.square-enix.com/na/account/

    Play dates for the Beta Phase 3 are held on weekends starting from Friday at 2am PST and ending on Sunday at 2am PST.  Next play sessions begin on the Fridays of June 28, July 5 and July 12.

    Please note: FFXIV Beta Phase 3 will end on Sunday, July 14 at 2am PST. PS3 Beta Phase 3 registration codes will expire at this time. Characters will not carry over into Beta Phase 4 and new PS3 Beta keys will be required to access Beta Phase 4.

    It isn't a new rule. We have only 50 keys at the moment, so we've limited it to 1 per IP. If we had a ton of keys we would certainly have loosened this limit. Hope you can understand. :)
