Aion GPU usage?

Hello,

 

I7-930 OC'd 2.8ghz -> 3.6ghz.

ASUS gtx 660 ti

I have been playing aion again the last 2 nights, trying to find something to pass the time. While playing, I notice that my GPU usage goes anywhere from 75-99% (msi afterburner on screen display). This is just crazy to me. I get the game isn't as optimized as it should be. But this game is several years old, and looks JUST OKAY. I run FFXIV on max 1920x1080, Metro: Last Light 1920x1080 max with phys-x on.

 

Is this sort of thing common?

    I think so.  In fact, Aion seems to load up slower than any other game I have ever played, including FFXIV and TERA.  Probably just poor optimization or something.

    Since when is Tuesday a direction?
