It won't run smoothly, not even at minimum settings.

One of my work laptops is a HP Elitebook 8560p with slightly higher specs than yours (2.5GHz i5 and Amd6470m) and I tried to run GW2 on it: 15-20 FPS at minimum settings, downsampling and a lower setting than the native 1600*900.

    Sorry...

We dont need casuals in our games!!! Errm... Well we DO need casuals to fund and populate our games - But the games should be all about "hardcore" because: We dont need casuals in our games!!!

You might want to try The Secret World. JMO... I've played both and TSW seems to be a bit  more friendly with a low-end or high-end system.

No matter how good or bad your laptop is, it is going to need a cooling mat.

Since when is Tuesday a direction?

Hi, dual-core 2.0's here, and it runs alright on minimum settings. I think GW2 will run alright at your lowest settings. granted, I'm getting 15-28 FPS, which is certainly low, but I still find it tolerable on my laptop. Of course, I have a gaming rig, so I can run it on maximum normally, but when I'm on a business trip, I find my laptop to deal with it fine.

Really, you want a home-built PC. It's not hard, so don't get into too much stress about it. Many people can help guide you through it for minimum cost. It seems intimidating, but it isn't. Laptops just aren't gaming machines.

Not true.  There are several manufacturers of gaming laptops that aren't that much more than a desktop.  The tech has come a long way.  I have a two year old Sager laptop that runs GW2 at nearly max setting without issue.

I5 is more than enough for gw2 (not to play know high or max obviously). But you don't have a discreet gpu which is bad so I have no idea how it will run. I play the game on duo core and it's okay on low settings.
