Late announcement, servers coming down for 'extended maintenence' right now...

I was expecting this tomorrow, it being Tuesday. I wonder what's up?

Julio suddenly cancels his interview, and the servers come down.

    Servers coming down you say? Keep all us cancelled accounts posted on what they are up to now, man I cant wait for Star Trek online to come out... :/

    SOE and LA have taken the servers down to release the Better Game Changes, or BGC. The BGC will entail the following:

    Crafters have been removed. They whined too much.

    All characters will now have latent jedi skills and the ability to weild a lightsaber.

    The combat system has been changed again. Combat will now require a joystick, and will be twitch based. Don't like that poor noob trader? Blow his head off. (Of course, we're removing them anyway. Might as well shoot them instead.)

    Due to the outcry of noob players being continually oppressed by veterans, we are removing all credits from players who are 3 months old or more, and redistribute them among those who joined after the NGE. The Empire has been renamed into the Socialist Republic of the Galaxy.

    We are removing the following planets: Corellia, Naboo, Rori, Talus, Tatooine, Lok, Endor, Yavin 4. Players can have these planets availible to them if they purchase a $30 expansion. For each planet.

    Improved Server Stability.

    We are aware of multiple bugs in the BGC. However, considering we spent a week developing this, we will fix them in patches to come in the following months.

    Most of them will be re-classified as working as intended when we realize that coding is hard and we are lazy.
