Why does this movie remind me so much of an MMO? Is there any mmo out there with elf/human/orc class except lotro? I really wanna know cause after I watched this movie it felt like it would look so awesome as an MMO.
There isn't a "right" or "wrong" way to play, if you want to use a screwdriver to put nails into wood, have at it, simply don't complain when the guy next to you with the hammer is doing it much better and easier. - Allein "Graphics are often supplied by Engines that (some) MMORPG's are built in" - Spuffyre
I thought, for a small production, it was worth backing but apparently it's already backed.
Now to see when it will actually show.
I believe August 2013, UK first.
Official name AFAIK is 'Dragon Lore: Curse of the Shadows'

Actually I love B scifi and fantasy movies. I miss all the great (ahm) '80s crappy Conan and Star Wars wanna be B movies.
There was one on Netflix I caught a few years ago and it was based off a PnP game. It was low budget, but it actually wasnt half bad, for a B movie that is. Cant remember the name though, cause I kinda want to watch it again.

The Lore is very generic.................... it seems inspired by Lord of The Rings rather than a MMO

Yeah, it's essentially a pastiche of lord of the rings and dungeons and dragons.
However, if watched with the right "mood" It's very fun.
Since I've seen sooooo many "bad" movies over the course of the years it amazes me to see the differences between those, this production which really isn't that bad as compared to other movies I've seen and "the professional" productions.
Compare this movie to, say, "She" and this is much better. But "Beastmaster" feels a bit better than this and obviously the Lord of the Rings movies are x amount of times better than that.
Like Skyrim? Need more content? Try my Skyrim mod "Godfred's Tomb."

OH MY GAWD THE CLICHES! THEY BURN!
The fights are surprisingly well done though. Like, these people actually have some idea of how to swing a sword. When they frame them right. Sometimes the camera angle is wrong or the people aren't on their marks and you get to see someone fly expertly away from a clear miss.
I can not remember winning or losing a single debate on the internet.

that movie looks like it should go straight to the syfy channel though,unfortunately..
The movie is based on an MMO. Saga, an MMORTS.

This is considerably better than most of the straight to SyFy movies. Straight to NetFlix maybe.

Kull, Krull, The Conan movies (I even liked the new one thought that was more than a B movie) both Dungeons and Dragons movies.
It's so Saturday afternoon as a "kid".
Thanks for the link and the info about when it's being released. I'll have to buy the dvd to support their work.
