I Guess some people like being spoon fed and burped.   Kids these days are so lazy and lacking of their own initiative.

It's not about kids and spoon feeding. Just not much to do. looking for red spots on the map gets boring after a while.

    Have you tried the game?

When it comes to questing and progressin, its more of a sandbox style than a typical mmo. You travel around and fight, collect, and fix broken things; You will see these on your map and you will be notified by  a voice. Collect resources, upgrade your battleframe, do whatever you want. Think of it like this, if you were in a world trying to be taken over by aliens, nobody would tell you everything you have to do from begining to end, they will teach you the basics and its up to you to make something out of yourself.

If you run into trouble, ask questions in the ingame chat and they will be adressed

Been playing for a couple of days and really enjoying it. I think right now it is a nice balance of missions and having to find things for yourself. Also the chosen and their activities can keep you busy or keep you dead. I think the game has a lot of potential.

I would like to see more roaming mobs, though cracking hives is hugely fun, the world does feel rather empty at this point, also would like to see some more wide open areas instead of all the extreme walling.

Xyson was//is a sandbox game. You get dumped into the starting area and without any information from the forums you'd be lost from the get go.

I'd still be there but for the fact a Dev was also playing a regular toon. The guy was blaming me for the extra work he had to do. The  Dev worked his way into the tribe I was in and basically destroyed the tribe from within.

Now, Xyson is a one man operation

I have every tier 2 frame unlocked but 3. I don't know about the spoon feeding but it is a game that takes wanting to find things to do over being told what to do.

But there isn't anything to do, that's the point. If you have a sense of adventure, you go out and find nothing.

This whole game looks uninteresting. I have not played it, but I'm fairly sure I already know it's not my cup of tea. Considering how many other games are so much like it, what was the point?
