Meh, My wallets still full. Haven't even been tempted to buy a single thing yet. I made a huge mistake in actually putting my funds directly into Steam wallet. Amazon and that other site gmg or something have had better package deals than I've seen on Steam so far.
huh. cool. thanks for the heads up ill check 'em out.
gmg .. good ol' games (gog)?

I don't know Green <something> Gaming. Not sure. I've never bought from that site but it's brought up a lot on the Steam forums comparing current Steam sales to theirs. If it's a AAA title definitely check around. At this point I think Steam has Apple syndrome in a sense. They have some ok deals but I don't think they are as good as they have been in the past. Mostly just look like daily/weekly specials all at once rather than spread out over a long period of time.
I have made purchases from Amazon. For instance last Dec I picked up a Civ bundle that included:
Civ V with everything minus one dlc + Civ IV with everything + all the Strong Hold titles for like $21.00. The cd keys from digital downloads at Amazon works in the Steam client.
Amazon just had a sale everyone was talking about this year with Borderlands (all dlcs)+ Borderlands 2 + The season pass for $21.99. I would have bought this had I not already plugged all my money into Steam wallet in late June in anticipation for the sale. Wasn't thinking Not going to make that mistake again.
According to the forums the GMG site had a sale with Borderlands 2 + The season pass for like $12.99. At least that's what everyone was saying on the forums.

Try using steam on deployment. It will randomly decide it's time call home, and stay broken until you do(middle of the ocean).
Valve also patches out any work arounds it finds.
