Greetings, Eorzeans!
Prime, a newly formed endgame FC, is opening recruitment. We are seeking skilled raiders and great people to bolster our ranks and help us to pursue endgame excellence come launch.
About Us
We are a newly formed Free Company that is looking to see competitive success within FFXIV: ARR's endgame. Our primary focus is raiding, but we aren't interested in being the type of players that log on, raid, and log off. We are fun people and avid gamers that really enjoy playing the game. We like to goof around on off-nights, do ridiculous and fun things, and generally have a good time (while maintaining a standard of excellence within our raids).
Our players come from a variety of backgrounds, ranging from playing with some of the best WoW guilds in the world, raiding with a respectable server-first guild, and raiding on a very relaxed schedule without too many regulations. We come from World of Warcraft, FFXI, FFXIV: 1.0, and other games. All of us, however, have the same goal in mind - to be successful, and have a good time doing it.
What can you expect from Prime?
You can expect a fun, active raiding environment that will be a competitive group on Hyperion. We will always strive to keep our raid in great shape - we aren't interested in allowing performance issues to fester, letting drama arise, or dealing with members starting problems with members, both within the FC and outside of it.
You can expect complete administrative transparency. We aren't interested in keeping important discussions/decisions behind closed doors - we are interested in the opinions of our players and will always discuss important matters with everybody. We encourage players to offer suggestions and ask questions, and our goal is to never tell anyone, "that's officer-only business".
You can expect a group of players that are dedicated to performing at the highest level. Nobody here wants to play at the minimum level of acceptability. We are constantly striving to find/create theorycraft, read any available information about our jobs, and generally strive to improve ourselves as much as possible. There is such a dedication to improvement here, and we believe that it's the most important quality a raider can possess.
One of the most attractive things about Prime is the opportunity to get involved with an awesome group in it's early stages - to help form the way things operate and be a part of integral decisions. In accordance with our policy of transparency, we will do our best to consult our members prior to deciding on important issues. Joining at such an early stage of development would allow you to be a part of some of the biggest decisions for the FC.
What we expect from you:
As a Prime raider, we will expect that you are constantly striving to play at the best of your ability. We aren't interested in carrying anyone, and expect every raider to earn their spot by always doing their best to improve and perfect their performance. The most important quality that we think a raider can possess is the urge and the desire to always want to improve yourself.
As stated above, we aren't interested in logging on, raiding, and logging off. Many of us are active on off-nights and enjoy shooting the sh*t while doing fun, ridiculous things all over Eorzea. While it isn't a requirement to be online every day, we ask that you try to stay active in the affairs of the group (on the forums, in-game).
