Seems like most people cant wait till August...
But how many will be disappointed that day if they find out that the game will be neither a sandbox game nor a graphical updated version of the original EQ?
Sad thing is by now most of us realise that with al the diversity in wishes and people hoping that EQN will grant all their wishes, will feel like SOE has lied to them and been unfaithfull to their own words.
Just prepare for the flamewars to really start in August.

Well, obvious to you and me, but not to all those others that are hyping their own imagined version of the game on here... and then they will start the flaming when its not what they dreamt of/imagined.
Can´t say this enough times... just so people realise on 2nd August that at least someone was right.

I was actually considering going to SOE Live to be there to see it live. I decided against it for that exact reason, what if it doesn't live up to all the hype.
Sad part is there is nothing other than EQNext and possibly AA on the horizon for MMOs.

Self-pity imprisons us in the walls of our own self-absorption. The whole world shrinks down to the size of our problem, and the more we dwell on it, the smaller we are and the larger the problem seems to grow.
Do vague comments count as lies now? People who read too much into vague comments have no one to blame but themselves.
I think the opposite is true. The entertainment value will skyrocket!!
What is said in August and what is delivered in 'December' will be two different things simply by logic.
As long as I can heal as a Halfling, I will be satisfied.

Noboddy seriously can beleive in a 2013 release and healing halflings, can they?

As long as the game doesn't feature FFA PvP and has decent combat I'll be fine with it. The rest of the sandbox features will be plenty enough for me.
Sandbox means open world, non-linear gaming PERIOD!
Subscription Gaming, especially MMO gaming is a Cash grab bigger then the most P2W cash shop!
Bring Back Exploration and lengthy progression times. RPG's have always been about the Journey not the destination!!!
