  SWG was great. There are a couple of emulators out there but unfort getting that original client is a pain if you dont have the disks. I dont know if it is true or not but I have heard that there are links to the client somewhere in their forums. Again, I cant confirm this since I have the disks and DLd the client that way. It is worth a check though I guess if you are really interested. If there is a way around having the original disks then someone there would know it.

  As for other games, I would recommend EQ2. I went to google looking for craft heavy game after SWG was shut down and that was one in the list that popped up. Vanguard popped up as well and I so wanted to try that as I have heard good things about the crafting system there but I DLd it, made a char and logged in and logged out after less than 5 min. It was just the setup and graphics etc. It was really weird for me and hard for me to get used to. Might be worth a try for someone else. It is free so *shrug*.

  As for EQ2, I have been playing that for several months and I really like it. Not only is the crafting system nice with tons of recipes but there is just so much to do in that game. It is almost overwhelming lol and pretty hard to get bored. At least for a somewhat casual player like me. You can get hurt crafting and have to pay attention to what you are doing but it is not so overly complex that you cant jump right in and get started. There is a tutorial and everything as well as writs (crafting quests) that help you advance pretty quickly. It is a nice system. And it is free as well (you can buy an upgraded membership if you like the game and want to) so again it is worth a try.
