    being a mage sucks, imean its strong and all, but i always use up my mana in like a minute.

    What level is your mage? If he's level 15 or something then yeah your right. But once you get to level 25+ you can fight for 10 minutes or more withour using up all your MP. And when you get your 2nd job you also get 500 more MP which helps. Anyways, Warriors are best from levels 10-20. Mages best from 20-30. Bowman and Sins and best from 30-50. And bandits are best from 50+. Kinda weird image

    All the jobs are best to me. All have advantages and disadvantages. Warriors close range, Thiefs close and long range depends which 2nd job adv u chose, Bowman are great at long range cuz datz basically all they can do and deal a great amount of damage too, and mages are just effin cool, soo many possibilities with mages.

    This game sucks.

    It's not an MMORPG, why is it on the website?

    I played this game for like a month...last year. I dl'd it again out of boredom to find that it still sucks just as badly.

    Play Martial Heroes if you like free MMOs.

    I don't play this game but I have to let you know...

    An Online RPG is deemed Massivley Multiplayer when the user limit reaches over 500...

     

    So, if this game doesn't have over 500 people, then... It's technically an MORPG (No massive)

    But never the less...

    It's still an RPG so give these people credit for playing them... i mean.. people actually choose to play star wars galaxies.............

    LOL you really think there isn't more than 500 people playing? On channel 19 theres more than 500 people playing. At one time I'd say there's atleast 7000 people playing. Your really underestimating this game dude. Anyways.....your wrong.

    I didn't say it didn't have 500+ people, i said an online rpg is considred massive if it has 500+ users playing...

    And that its not if it doesnt...

    I didn't say "Maple story doesn't have 500+ players"

    Anyways, I got it last night and its a pretty sweet game for what it is.

    I have a level 46 lightning wizard and a level 33 assassin and I have to say my wizard is A LOT funner and more profitable to play than my assassin

    the morons who say maplestory isnt a mmo or guildwars isnt a mmo are morons who cant seem to understand what MMO means it may not be yer style of game but yes they are MMO's sure its side scroller and not as technical as the big games but it is still in the MMO genre guildwars well yeah its all instanced but yes its a mmo.

    It really depends in what sense you are talking with the whole "best/fav character" becus I find having a high level cleric to be very useful however bandits are also good for the higher levels becus they have the potential to overthrow the other classes.

    So you claim to have 9 lives ey? Well I've got 10 bullets! xD

    Yea everyone wants a cleric to be in their party, and its great feeling wanted lol i had sum pple fight over me to be in there party * hilarious *, But cleric are like a must have in high lvl parties. Bandits are very strong once they hit +40s. and sins..umm i like them cuz they can throw stars while jumping, strong, and they have haste also and claw booster, very cool

    So far, warriors are easier to me mainly because they're stronger. The mage is okay, but you can't always have combat from far away, and the bowman I kept running out of arrows. I get tons of them with the others but if I play my bowman, I hardly get any dropped. Then I have to use a backup weapon like a sword.image The bandit I haven't played yet so i dunno....if I play the game longer, my opinion might change.image

    well u know wut guys, i dont like the mage, warrior, thief or the bowman

    do u know wut i really like?

    Fighting Pickles

    cuz they can use the sour pickle breath and its a splashing move at the 1st job advance

    and also the Green Power up allows them to use up only -2 MP from every magic power they do

    for instants, the sour pickle breath costs over -20
    well i dunno about u guys, but i like the fighting pickles =/

    PICKLE OWNs MAGES AND WARRIORS + THE BOWMEN AND THE THIEVES

    Mages,warriors,thief,bowman  <  FIghting PIckle

    It depndes... what is better for u?!

    do u want money, fun or fast exp...?

    for money i suggest u be a ice or fire.

    for fun i would say ice cuz the have cold beam and lightning which can hit 6 enemys.

    for fast exp - clerics on the high levels and fire wizards for the lower ones.

    now, if u are going to reach 3rd job with the char i would say cleric, cuz cleric have the best skills for 3rd job among the mages...

    ice mages have ice stirke which is very effective against bain - fast exp and really fun... but u can kill bains like in lvl 90+ so it's not that matter.. lightning spear is the most powerful magic for mages but it's slow and can be use from like lvl 75-80.

    now, fire mages are pretty sux in the 3rd job, so if ur planning to go above 70 dont take them.

    just go for cleric... they rux..

    ALL classes are equal.
    Without one class, another would be useless.

    But of course for me, it would be bandits...even though the majority would say bowmen.
