Runescape: Players to Shape the Game World

Jagex has announced that Runescape 3 has officially launched globally. For the first time, players will have the opportunity to shape the game world through the Battle of Lumbridge. 

The launch of RuneScape 3 marks the beginning of the Battle of Lumbridge, the first gaming experience forged by players, who will shape the future of the RuneScape world forever. In addition to the player-driven dynamic events sculpting both the content and lore in RuneScape 3, nearly every aspect of the immensely popular game has been upgraded. RuneScape 3, which is available in five languages and played in 190 countries around the world, is the most ambitious online adventure experience to date.

    I looked at the patch notes, and currently other than an event and HTML5 I can't see what this 3.0 patch did.

    and from what I remember of Runescape is that a good thing?....It had one of the most obnoxious communities ever.

    The game sucks,  I have the latest and greatest hardware and software,  Cant get the shit to load at all on HTML5 or Java,

     

    I have tried my PC,  New MacBook Pro retina,  and 5 different browsers,  even tried client install. 

     

    My internet is crazy fast FiOS so that's not it.

    Nvidia 7850HD

     

    and this ran fine except for a hiccup with Chrome and HTML5.

    While this may sound good (it might be good, I honestly don't know), from my past experience the "dynamic" stuff is collecting a set amount of resources or something like that, and I guess depending on what players do you'll have to collect different resources, items, or kill different monsters. I hope this doesn't happen and I hope they get creative.

     

    RuneScape DOES have the best quests in any MMO though (as far as I know).
