I'm in Mars server channel 28 . BUt I didn't see any English player lol. my char name is Valen and Reno. pm in game if you play there. It's boring to play alone heh
if I only knew which server was mars... then maybe I could play with you guys. Theres lik 8 servers, and like 7 of them have 30 channels... makes it kinda hard to find out which one is mars

Just finished up to timed quest. One where I had to clear out a room full of enemies in 4 mins. The other had me killing a boss surrounded by enemies with only 2 mins. They were both fun.
I do have this one problem with cabal though. After I've been on for about hour or so. If I've changed area's more then 2 or 3 times. The game turns into a slide show, and the only way to get around it. Is to log off and exit all the way out. Not necessarily game stopping, just very annoying.
PS: Anyone know what I need to do for this quest? Pic of Quest (Click me!) I've been walking between the 3 towns trying to figure it out. No luck though.

The quest are super easy most of time. Only about half of them ever want you to kill things. Others just have you running around talking to NPC's. I can't read Korean, nor do I have a guide. But I managed to knock out every quest from 1 to 11 so far.
For Kill Quest. Just simple matter of matching up the mob name to one in Quest Log. Helps to also match up the Map name to know which of the 3 maps to head to.
For Collection quest. Just usually have to go to where the red marker is on map. The red marker usually indicates a new quest giver or next NPC in line of a quest. As well as entrance related to a quest or quest item.
meh You'll understand once you start playing. It's simple.

Sup all, I downloaded the Korean Language support thing from the Microsoft site, but when I try to use AppLocale or set my windows Unicode settings to Korean it doesn't let me and asks me to put in my CD to get the files...

As far as I recall you can't install support for eastern languages without your Windows CD, and AppLocale doesn't work without those languages installed already. Not 100% sure though.
PS: Hit lvl 16 tonight. Thanks again Reno for all the help ingame. I would have never known about the Quest for the Combo Action. For that matter how to use the Combo System either.

Hoping to be wearing full set of my 2nd tier armor by 18. But for some reason my stats aren't adding up right. If my counting is right i'm going to fall 1 point short of the requirements.

At level 10 you get a quest for the Combo Skill. When you hit it. A meter appears with a bar that rises fast. You have to hit skills at a certain point during the bar. Bar looks something like this:

And you are usually trying to get it into the box with the x in it. I've gone pass that box and had it still work. As long as it didn't hit the end of bar. Does alot more dmg then my normal hits. Thanks again to Reno for explaining it to me.

1. Your HP, MP Bar. The yellow bar and the square is when you have your combo start skill and your battle order/mode skill. Your Level and the job you are and your name is also on there.
2. Name of NPC's are in Green.
3. Name of yourself and your HP bar [Check Second Guide.]
4. Map/Radar to see where you are or where the NPC's are.
5. Chat box.
6. Where it shows what you get, EXP, Item and such.
7. When you do not play for awhile the arrow will go up which will give you double the EXP.
8. EXP Bar.
9. Skill Bar.
10. The bar where you can see your character or inventory and such.
Second Guide.
1A. Starting from Left to Right, Graphics, Game, Sound.
1. Can use Whispering and recive whispering.
2. Can/Recive trade.
3. Can/recive Party invites.
4. Player Name
5. NPC Name
6. Character HP Gauge
7. Show Character Helmet
8. Monster Name
9. Item Name, When they drop.
10. Monster's HP Gauge.
11. Auto-Attack
12. Can move the camera with right click.
13. Switch the Skills meaning F# keys switch to just normal 1,2,3 keys. If checked.
14. Only show your character's back when moving.
Third Guide
1. When you reach that level, you must have the exact same thing or pass it. Or you will not get your Combo skill or your Battle Order/Mode [When level 10 you get Combo 20,30 Battle Order/Mode, 40 Making Guild, 50 Getting another Battle mode and so on.]
2. Your Class, Class rank, and stats, Top to Bottom, 힘 = Strength, 지능 = Int, 민첩 = Dex.
3. Your stats point.
4. Your Attack, Def and such. Top to Bottom, Attack Strength, Magic Attack Strength, Defense, Attack Rate, Dodging rate, HP, MP, [Check First Guide] When you die you get this red bar on your EXP And you have to pass over it to get your original HP and MP back.
5. Order Code, I think this one is Ranking or something, Guild.
6. Skills, Sword, Magic, Upgrade, Special
7. Sword Rank, Rank Level, Skill EXP
8. Skill points
9. Your skills, the minus button meaning you can decrease your skill by one, Warning it will take alot of Alz[Money]. You can remove your skill when the skill is at Level 1 and push the minus button. You will recive your skill points back when you put a skill down a level. Plus button meaning raising up the skills.
10. How much you can have for your skills.
Fourth Guide
1. Quest, First tab is which you are doing right now, Second tab meaning you have to get those from the right NPCs.
2. Check it to see what quest is unfinished.
3. Quest list.
4. See quest again.
5. What you have to do to finish the quest.
6. Item, Blue - Magic Item, White - Normal Item. Items with +# on it means it is a upgraded Item, you can upgrade it more by using the Red Core/Ball thing which is worth 100-150 Million Alz. The slot on my item means I can put a Force Core/ball thing which is worth 100-150 Thousand Alz.
Oh a nice guide you have there . I was wondering about those status too. I got a lot of rings from mobs but I don't know which one I should wear hehe because I don't know what those words in status pannel mean lol. Now I can equip those rings, thanks for posting the guide Prider.

the quest most be the easiest part of the game if you ask me O_O just understand the skill system was harder!
