With THQ's financial woes solved for good, all final assets have now been sold off. Of interest to our readers is the news that Wargaming, parent company of Gas Powered Games, has purchased the Total Annihilation licensing.
With THQ’s bankruptcy case now resolved, where else can we turn for the will-they-won’t-they of franchise auctions? We can certainly get a quick fix of financial peril from Atari, who have sold off properties including Master of Orion and Total Annihilation – both of which have ended up with the current owner of all the money, Wargaming.net. It should be happy news for TA fans, as the game’s original designer, Chris Taylor, and his studio Gas Powered Games are now also being cradled under the Wargaming umbrella

Oh hell yeah !!
But only if it's more like MoO II than MoO III...

Let's just say we weren't that happy in the process.

Nothing beats the Master of Mana mod for Sid meier's Civilization 4, its a kind of tribute to Master of magic. That mod is built on a previous mod called fall from heaven II, its no coincidence that the guy behind FFH2 was hired by stardock. FFH2 and the later MoM tribute really are amazing.
