Hello there. I've thought about that thing with Graphics when people are rating a game. "It has to be more 3D to have better graphics and to be a good game". But that's just an lie. Graphic can be good in other ways. Like 2D can be better. I mean that it looks funnier to play there and you know. So I think it is actually wrong to say a 3D game have better graphics, sure it might be more 3D and advanced but that doesn't mean it is better graphics for that. But I agree, it's kinda nice with new graphics too. I think it can be good in many ways.
Someone agree?

I have seen a lot of 3D games that look like crap and I've seen a lot of 2D games that look like crap.
I do judge games by how they look. Let's face it, you usually need to enjoy looking at what you're playing. However, the style the developers choose is not as important as how they pull it off. A 2D game done well is a beautiful thing.
The same thing can be said for "realistic" graphics vs. exagerated or "cartoony" graphics as we saw in the EQ2 vs. WoW debates.
It's all a matter of taste.

Completely and utterly right. I nnormally dpnt care too much about graphics. (i played Runescape i mean c'mon) I want to have good game play. if i want too look at sumthing pretty for a few hours, i will go to a museum. However, i do expect a certain level of graphics I mean i dont wanna look at crap for a while no matter how good the gameplay is (Unless the game play is omfg omfg omfg amazing to the maxzor extreme... zor)
Am I ever wrong??
