i got an email couple weeks ago and it was talking about Dec 8th....whats exactly suppose to be happening?
SoG is launching today. It's a kind of open beta.
Not sure why everyone is really worried. Either DnL is going to stand the challenge or not. Should be interesting to see what happens, none the less.

by the looks of it, the download is still on.. they closed the forums ect and its still announced its going to happen today, lets just hope all goes well!
heh download is today but something tells me the 11 is whn serv goes up...
The download might start today, but the real question is when will the servers go live so we can actually play??
I think they are totally lame enough to come to the forums tonight and say "Congratulations to everyone who downloaded SoG!! Stay tuned for our announcement regarding the server launch in January!!!"
I just can't see them going live with the game today.
My popcorn supply is fully stocked and ready to be eaten during the coming hours while I enjoy the entertainment. *thumbs up*

I think if they're gonna delay the server launch then they're really gonna delay it. What's the rush? No one seems to care that they make and break deadlines on a whim. They might as well take their time.
I'm thinking late January to early February before we actually get in game.

Well...this could be bad...
I just tried out the login at http://www.darkandlight.net/sog/ to see what was happening there and now it's telling me my login or password is incorrect. I tried yesterday and it was working fine. Hope their registration isn't connected to the forums being down.
Oh, and random and off-topic question: If DnL was cancelled, either before or during SoG is in full-swing, then would NP3 be liable for lawsuits? Not that I paid a pre-order, but it would make a fun case to watch.

Well, they already announced the servers won't be up until the 13th.
But, this UTC time thing. That's +12 hours to GMT isn't it? So that's at 6:00am in the UK...
