I really do not hope that EQN will be free to play, rather pay xx$ each month and don't have item mall or any other stupid pay to win in the game and i don't wan't to get a bonus for subscription. Then all is playing at the same term and no bonus or benefits for donation.
It migth be big but never the biggest, not at all...
If they keep it in eq1 gamestyle, then all the kids will continue playing wow and you know what, i really hope the kids and QQ's stay at wow and then lets the adults have a game to play with some good challenge rather pay a feed each month than it goes free to play with item mall or crap like that. Then i just continue not playing
"I just know it" is not a very plausible argument. I find it funny how a game which so little is known about has this much hype already, especially from a company that is known for having bad decisions in the past.
That said, I do hope it suceeds and becomes something interesting to play, but I'm not holding my hopes up before more factual evidence is presented about the game.

I don't care if MMORPG.com hates it, loves it, etc., the tastes of those that have seen it may be different than mine. Also, I won't even know if I'll like it based on what I see at SOE Live. I need to play the game for myself, until then, it's fun to speculate, imo.

No kidding. It's amazing how we're already hearing how great EQNext is without even the benefit of gameplay videos or even concept art. I bet if credit card payments were available there would be suckers lining up ready to swipe.
Game sounds amazing. Its like a MMO Minecraft, on an epic scale.
But...the graphics...look worse than WoW xD It literally looks (to my eyes, so my personal opinion)...to me...it literally looks like a Disney Cartoon. I'm not joking. Not even WoW looks like a Disney Cartoon...
Well...lets just say, I won't be playing it.
And there is already a lot of other threads about the graphics style...so...yeah...
