Everyone was lead to believe that they'd be playing SoG on the 8th, but lo' and behold the smoke and mirrors!! Slight of hand with indirect news and shady confirmations as always we're told right at the last second that we won't be. It does NOT surprise me at all, not a single damn bit. I knew they were gonna pull this. There was zero news, not a shred of information regarding what was going on today in terms of us getting our hands on SoG. I just knew it, "eh...somehow, someway, it's not gonna happen tomorrow". The e-mails we were recieving, you'd think everything was all packed up and ready to go. A text book classic move over the course of this game's life.

There was a poll on the D&L boards asking if people thought that the devs would once again pull off one of their stunts, and guess what? The poll agreed in favor of SoG probably not being live on the 8th. THAT'S the faith of your customer base.

People posting on the official site saying they'll be taking the next few days off work, it was everywhere. You didn't even have the damn sence to inform anyone, this was like 2 WEEKS before the 8th!!! You knew that there was an insane amount of hype for that date. Thousands of people didn't go to work/school so they could get a chance to get their spot and play SoG.

The botched job of that skill sheet released on the 7th.......don't.


Can't wait for SoG on the 13th though, that's going to be the final judgement.

    I had a strong feeling it was going down like this after the god slap "Skill Tree" that and our Ebay friends coming along for the ride.

    Shame really i had high hopes and hated everything Jackdog and co posted but alas i find myself thinking he might be right.

    it's really not so hard to see.. I mean c'mon.. if the game was any good they would be WANTING to release it ASAP..

    /agree I think these guys are seriously on crack.I mean you have people giving up a days work and losing income (I wouldn't do it, but some did) and you don't have the freakin decency to say it's not going to be out until the 13th.We're talking about peoples livelyhoods here, people that have enough faith to take a day off thinking they could play SoG.The forums are gonna be chaotic when they open back up, if I were them, I wouldn't even open them.I am a Pioneer, and as alot of other people have been very disappointed how mmo's have gone downhill.In the belief that this could be the holy grail for true mmo players, I have been supportive.On the other hand, I know I can call my cc company and reverse the charge, so I'm not sweating it.If it does end up being a load of crap, Vanguard,Darkfall and other games are gonna be there.

    I thought that instead of making a new thread I'll just ask here, since this sort of correlates to this post.....I was told that unholy414 posted a link to download SoG. I got my free key, can anyone direct me to his post with the link plz?

    That was the chinese version... the international (english, french) version will be released tommorrow the 9th.
