    This is actually a myth. The moment Weaponshield drops they get steamrolled too fast to measure how much pain would or might have been felt. So from lack of evidence we can clearly state, Ranger do not have feelings.

    Rangers were almost a tank class when EQ released

    along comes Kunark - and the ranger defense nerfs and corpse jokes commence

     

    didnt help that newbie spells like Flame Lick would over aggro

    Actually since level 85 or so, Rangers can take quite a beating and have become rather decent pullers. Also with Headshot they are one of the best Powerlevelers today. I have a ranger that I box with my Shaman quite a bit still. However, that doesn't mean I can't throw the occasional joke.
