Lots to like about that reveal but the cartoon graphics and especially the combat system are alienating many.  Sign this petition if you're in that camp:

The horrible Art-Style of the character Avatars need a petition FAR more than their combat system. At this point and time the combat system is still mostly up in the air, but the ArtStyle needs to be changed ASAP or they'll be stuck with it come Open Beta.

    totally agree with OP.  signed.

What do you mean we don't know anything about it?  Are you blind?  Did you not watch the reveal?

What in the world is to like about what they showed? Giant hyper-animated whirlwind attacks are still hip?  When every single ability is world-shattering and epic, nothing is.

You guys enjoy your flashy cluster-fuck.

I was also taken back by the Wildstar action and effects of Everquest Next, though Wildstar won't be any competition to Everquest Next

I will definitely be turning down effects during combat GG!

Also, it looks like TRAINs are ingame and they can destroy your fortress, ugh (Iron Golem)

Amazed by the subterranian areas and how its all connected and the interaction/construction/destruction with the environment though

I do not forsee this game coming out until well into 2014

WTF kind of combat do y'all want, one that syncs up with your brainwaves? Editing to say, I do agree that the combat was over the top flashy and couldn't tell wtf was going on at some parts of the battles.

NOT Signed!  Not only do I like how it looks, but we don't have enough information yet on the combat to sign a petition to change it.  LOL!

get rid of the over done animations, and the telegraphing, and everything else looks perfect.  I like the characters and world models, they are also early Alpha builds, and could get improved as builds advance

Are you serious ? The combat system is clearly pre alpha .But we saw things that we pretty cool .

Wizard created wall of spikes . warrior destroyed a bridge , monster blew up and created hole . Robot destroyed building.

Red AOE circles , I can live with but wish they did it differently somehow  using pre action animations on ground like ground shakes in the area of future effect etc ?

We don't know what controls are used to do combat, is it simple or complex  ?

How many spells does the wizard have ? How many types of warrior attacks are there?

can we only pick 2 at once to use ? etc etc

What happens when the world is totally destroyed ? Does the game reset or is it an instance that only you and the players in the instance with you at the time can see the changes ?

There are so many questions unanswered . so a petition is way too early lol .

Even though it looked incredibly shallow in the video, most games look boring on video, versus actually playing them.  Hopefully we'll hear some more about the combat and other gameplay systems, in detail, this weekend.

My only complaint about the combat was.... so many explosions.... I was going blind from all the flashes and bombs going off.... sort of like being trapped in a room full of strobe lights.
