So we are taking another look at FF14:ARR. This time using the new character creation benchmark. We will use a side by side comparison of max vs lowest settings (max on the left lowest on the right). Other then a few effects and foliage your really not missing out on much playing on the lowest settings. The overall look and texture quality remains the same. So no worries!
If you look carefully at a few key moments. The max settings doesn't look as clean and crisp. This is due to motion blur on the higher settings. I suggest disabling motion blur (Depth of field) even if your running everything else maxed (unless you enjoy motion blur). It will make the game look much sharper in motion

Another P.S: Yea vegas + youtube HATEs lossless RGB and even at high bitrate fails to compress it well. I wont record in lossless rgb again

After re-uploading over 10 different codecs, programs, bitrates NONE of them looked better. Youtube 8ish mbps limit just wont make this look good. I tried mp4,wmv,lossless. Vegas, premier, handbreak. 8/10/20/50 mbps bitrates, still nothing. If someone can get a video up to youtube (1080) of the benchmark (maxed) that does not blur and pixelate during heavy motion, PLEASE CONTACT me and tell me what settings your are using.
I have much more action heavy videos that look 3x better then this one, WHY? All my video retrys looked f**king fantastic on my side before upload. WHY does youtube garble them so bad? Is it the fact youtube has the 8mbps bitrate limit? <-- hasn't been a issue before
Sorry
ps3 is much older tech than what there min specs plus the ps3 version would look quit a bit better if it just had a bit more memory
