Alts?

Hey there,

 

Does anyone have any evidence that we will be able to play different characters (alts) on one server ?

The devs have stated that you can have a character with a variety of skills/abilities that you unlock thru gaining classes, but I have heard no solid evidence that I can play more than one character.

So can we have more than one character as opposed to me creating a Kerren Warrior who can then become a Kerren Wizard, or Kerren Ranger, etc, etc.

    There was mention that if you created an alt the experience with the world would be different so it seems like it :)

    I don't see any point in rolling an alt under the system they described, unless you wanted to make a different race/sex toon.  Your single toon can have all the classes and abilities in the game and different classes is the number one reason people normally roll an alt.

     

    Yes they said the experience wouldn't be identical on an alt because the world itself will be different over time so trying to "progress" your alt the same way you did your first character wouldn't even be possible due to the opportunities not being the same.

    Thanks.  Yes it would be because I want to play different sexes and/or races.
