Its called Collector's edition for a reason. So no, they shouldn't make anymore, even if i didnt get one.

I have the physical 1.0 CE which I imagine is very rare at this point as I assume most people burned theirs a few weeks after the original release.

most likely someone bought more than one and will sell on Ebay later at an inflated price

Which country are you in? In Europe the SE store only sells digital copies and there are several retailers selling physical copies...

Here is a link to the official suppliers http://eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/en/product/#ceSpecialAnchor for the EU.  I know some of them still have the PC CE in stock, but I do not know if SE will be enforcing any region restrictions.

Haha I did the same thing. Who knew a company would actually remake a piece of crap like 1.0 into such an awesome game?

    Thanks guys!

I currently live in the US to answer that person's question. If I buy the Collector's Edition from the UK will I run into any compatibility problems (installing, playing the game?)

sorry for double post, just saw this.

there could be problems, yes. you will need a EU square enix account because the key you get will be a EU key. yes, EU and NA play on the same servers, however PAYMENT METHODS will be different. you may run into problems when they ask for payment info, like billing address and so on. i would probably either wait and see if people actually get this to work somehow that already pulled the trigger, get a PS3 version if you can or just hope they make more in the future for us lowly NA denizens.

Theres still copies on those UK sites! Will they work on US computers? or is it restricted by some region code crap when you register your SE account?

Might actually be collectible unlike most collectors editions that everyone and their mother has a copy of lol.
