I was 90% sure I was gonna pre order this weekend anyways, this code just made it 100%
From their site:
"The Capsule Client will not be required to download the FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn client for Early Access before 27th August. Customers will receive instructions by email on how to download the client directly from Square Enix in the near future. From 27th August onwards, the Capsule Client will be required to download the game."
Was does that exactly mean?
Why cant we use the FFIV Launcher after the 27th?
if you have already downloaded the game before the 27th you can launch it fine, its just for the download that will need capsule client if you haven't downloaded the game already before the 27th.

how come i don't see the 18 digit code in my email?
Please find your unique 18-digit code contained in this confirmation email ( yea where is it ?). i don't get it where do i find the code and where do i put the code...
Yea i would like to know too. I ordered the collector's edition and it gave me the code in the email but when i bought the reg. edition for my brother it just says "No keys available until the game is released" on the GMG games library. I hope that doesn't mean on the 27th, since i kind of wanted my brother to also play with me on early access.

oh well BUT WHY some people in here got the CE and got the code but the normal 29.99 got nothing. i swear to god i'll never buy anything to this website again.
Hate to hear this, sorry you have to deal with this BS. Have they resolved your issue yet? If they do or do not, could you please update on here to make others aware. Thanks!

Well just to let you guys know, don't buy the normal 29.99 because there is no keys available until the game is released and i don't know about the CE but some of you here got the early acess code.
If you're going for the SE just get it from Square.

There was zero hassle for me, it's sad that you guys are having trouble, I placed my order and within 10 seconds I had an email confirmation with a cd key included. Linked the key to my square account and was good to go.
Now I only received one key, I didn't get an early activation or beta key (if they even exist) just one game key. I am assuming that's all I'll need for early access.
Ps: This was CE, getting CE for only 7 bucks more then standard this deal seems well worth it to me.
Is there an EU key and a US key? I input the CE key onto my account, and now whenever I click my account profile, it's eu.square-enix, instead of na-square-enix. Will this effect my game at all if I want to play NA?
Any response will help!
