I have played Eq(5yrs), COH(2yrs), COV(Mos) and SWG (1yr).  I am now playing Saga of Rysom.  There arent any tradition mob types or classes but..

I really like it.  The community is great.  The character skill trees are the most flexible I have ever seen, Melee, Nuke, Healer, Harvest and Craft, all  with the same toon.  My doing one alot doesn't penalize the other skills.  You can take parts of actions(attacks, harvest methods, ...) and create new ones.  Crafting is rather intense.  Various qualities of resources to give items stat differences.  And there is item decay and a slight death penalty.  And there is a 7 day free trail.  If the above stuffs sounds fun give the game a try.

Oh yeah, I posted for support in game one time.  I got a response in 5 seconds, almost fainted.

I figure Dark Age of Camelot, and Lineage II might fit your liking. They both have the races and classes you have described and for the most part, are fun and engaging games. That’s all I can really think of off the top of my head, but there might be more. So be sure to check out DAOC and L2 and you just might find what you’re looking for. ::::20::

The Saga of Ryzom is absolutely gorgeous.
I miss it and this just makes me want to go back already ;)

But alas, for the time being, I cannot.

If you're looking for a game that's graphicly pleasing, that's definately the place to go.

But, if you're looking for something easier on a machine I would suggest you go through the list, make a grouping of games that look intresting to you.
Make sure that the games you pick at least let you have a trial.
Most games that are worth playing will give you a small trial.
This way to you can go ahead and try it out and see if your PC can handle it as well as seeing if it's something that will stick with you.

    Just my suggestion ;)

Hail to all the SOR players out there!

I didn't care for Saga of Ryzom at all but it is very pretty. The memory requirements on that, and on DAoC are 512, I think. I have known people to run both CoH/V and Lineage 2 on less than 512, not very well though. CoH/V seems the easiest of the lot to run on low end specs. I've never tried to run any of the games mentioned with less than 512 but most were passable with the 512. The lowest spec graphics card I've used to play those games has been a GeForce 4400 Ti and it's always been fine. Having said that, buying more RAM and a better graphics card has been the best investment ever when it comes to playing games. ::::19::
