...build together to create custom PVP encounters.

On a cycle of say every 48-72 hours, players could rally together and build a custom PVP encounter, allowing players to build custom structures and mechanics to create their own Battleground Objectives.

Each team has the responsibility to build their base structure; setting traps and dead end mazes. After a given amount of time to build, players are set out to race against the other team, fighting to take down the enemy's base, capture their flag or achieve a primary objective.

As so long as it kept on a PVP server I guess I'm fine with it.

What I would like to see... is some kind of "frontier" area that all the factions can have territory control inside of.   I suppose it would be kind of like the DAoC frontier system.... tho I just think more of a wild area.

Then instead of static Keeps like DAoC had.. you could get together to build fortifications to help hold your territory.   At which point other people can roll up and let the destruction I mean fighting begin.

I think it would also make sense to have some kind of system like they tried with UO after Trammel.   They had something in the old Fel dungeons that made people want to have it and thus take the chance to go into pvp land.   In this case maybe its just a higher chance of getting recipies etc I don't know.. but it gives people the option to go there if they choose to take the risk as well as giving competitive PvP players something to do.

Of course there has to be some benefit to actually controlling territory...   I'm not sure what that would be.  In TSW you could get buffs to various things based on controlling different PvP things.   The issue was most people never took part in PvP but got the buff for doing nothing...  (it probably was supposed to be an incentive but that didn't work until they could just go afk and get points every few seconds to buy gear with.. ahem).
