Out of the loop, need help finding a new game :)!

As the title says I need help finding a new game! I've been out of the loop for a few years as I've been traveling and volunteering abroad for nearly 3 years. I've been trying to find a game, but its a bit overwhelming. I'll be taking time off/partaking in me time over the next year before attending grad school. I would like to get back into gaming and need a couple hobbies!

I've played a little bit of everything: WoW, DAoC, AoC, WAR, Eve, Anarachy, etc. One of my favorite games was Diablo 2 (I really like arpgs). I  grew up around gaming having a brother ten years my senior.

I'm more of a casual gamer due to always being busy. I graduated high school at 17 with two years of college under my belt (PSEO) and participated in sports. I graduated college when I was 19 and have basically been everywhere in the past few years. Besides working part time here and there at my father's company and whatever else I really just want to chill.

Any general advice on new games would be really appreciated! I just need to be pointed in the right direction, thanks!

    Path of Exile for an online 'version' of D3.

    or you can try open beta of ffxiv, which starts on 17. (and game releases on 27.)

    I second Path of Exile. It is a really good game that is run by a really great company. I will be playing later this week once the patch hits, and I will be starting a new character so that I may try out the patch's new skill gem. If you end up in game add me (ign is the same as my forum name here).

    Guild Wars 2 and The Secret World are my current favorites. Both work well for casual gaming. Path of Exile is alright, too, but I never got into it for some reason.

    Darkfall unholy wars(my main game) and gw2 are my current favourite games

    I got back into Rift after a long hiatus and am loving it so far.  Little confusing, but a really well made game.

    Darkfall is great but I wouldn't recommend it for a casual guy. Path of Exile definitely sounds like your bag.
